I think Sameer should be written better

The one complaint I have right now is why is Sameer always only speaking about or doing something related to the bet? I know he isn't in love with Naina yet, but still he should be shown having some sort of life other than just trying to win the bet right? Maybe more scenes with Nanu, or even in the scenes with Munna and Pandit, they can be shown talking about other things too, not just the bet.

The way Naina is shown with her family and friends, her equation with each person, along with the voiceover really helps enhance her character. I'm not saying Sameer should have a voiceover too, because that might be too much, but still just some variety in his scenes would help.

What do you guys think?

I think they are trying To show that only...confused soul he is...

He himself don't know what is happening with him...

For now I don't think there is any flaws in his characterisation...

He is supposed to be the one he is now...

A person who is different in and out...

Actually it is beautiful to see gradual change in his behaviour rather than suddenly having feelings...

Sameer is pretty aimless with no goals in his life. That is what upset his mother that he is not focusing on his life, his future and studies. That is how his character has been sketched. He spends his time whiling away doing nothing. We have seen him watching movies with his friends, hanging out with his friends, smoking. It is probably a subconscious effort on his part to show his mother that he doesn't want to listen to her. He will live his life the way he wants and not the way she wants. With all the hurt she has given him he will hurt her by doing nothing.

With Naina, she has a big family. She has been focussed in life. She has had a stable life even without a mother. She has got the love from her family. So, the reciprocation of her love is natural.

The changes that his mother wants in him will be brought about by Naina probably.

This problem basically is bcoz the show is through Naina's perspective...she is narrating her love story...so obviously they'll show her part more than his...we have to accept this fact...

His part will be shown as much related to her only mainly...😊

am founding certain post regarding how show is going on a disappointed path.

I agree to some extent but we have to keep in mind that the whole show is from naina's perspective and its so obvious that the main focus will always on naina and her family until she really settles with sameer sammer has no such role apart from the fact he is the love of naina and naina dream to be his life partner .😊

So that's why most of sameer scene is related with the bet coz as stated by the narrator the bet was most crucial point of thier story sigh 😆😉

So we all know around this bet depend almot everything the sammer whole life is depend on the bet at right now at the moment it's not only about his hair because he can easily sacrifice his hair we have seen in early ep how when he was angry when naina almost slaped Sam he said mai bal katwa lunga lekin is bhenji ki taraf myd ke bhi dekhunga nahi like really ? To ab kya hua beta sammer😉 mamule se balo ke liyey kisney kaha hai us bjenji ko jhelney ke liyey? Are bhia bal hai koi khal to nahi jo dubara na ugey??😲 when you have choice why to waste time on bhenji😉..

Actually sammer is the typical potrayel of 90 s most kid who were either aimless or clueless in thier life the reason can be anything coz in that era people were not so much cautious about the career or thier self unlike today where half of the world is career oriented and today children from minimum at the age of 15 starts building up thier aim unlike 90s where thier were no such choices in occupations neither thier were awareness so sammer is like that only.

He has no aim in life he knows his nanu has a established business and after nanu he is the one who will look after it and many too knows that why he didn't ask him about studies coz nanu also knows that he is average at the studies so that is completely ok coz sameer is very good at sport it not necessary you have to be good at everything so he is a carefree man .

But this mount abu trip will be turning point I am 100 percent sure of it and naina will go no matter what I have full faith on nanu😆

Sameer is very clueless he doesn't know he has fall for naina under the influence of bet

After thinking to much I came to conclusion that this bet jaap is only to satisfy his male ego and to gave a stud impression in front of his friends its like telling to himself hey dude u can't fall for that padaku bhenji naina its only bet bet bet where reality is far behind ..bhago sameer beta bhago kab tak bhago ge apne dil se 😉😆

Now coming to Sam s aim once naina will cut his all ties from it or naina's family will challenge sammer to prove himself worthy of naina then we will see a complete another sameer I remeber the voiceover saying it was the last time she got topped in class 10 that's mean its sameer who toped in 11 😆...

Naina came 2 due to the revelation of bet and sammer came 1 in oder to prove naina and her family 😆simple math

So until sameer get any challenge he will be roaming like this only his ultimate transformation will be getting back the most precious thing he lost due to his stupidity Naina

Just because the narrator is expressing only her feelings does not mean sameer is not well written. We are getting used to the narration.. But otherwise we never expect any narrator to express what he/she was feeling at that moment when we watch any other show or movie.

Infact i find sameers character more interesting than naina. Naina is a girl that most of us have been in our school days. But sameer is one of a kind.

Randeep has been doing a wonderful job till now. Yes.. We do get confused at times what he must be thinking, what was his intention... That is because as the phase of the story is changing sameer himself is confused too.

Yes.. He is shown talking only about the bet coz he does not have many other people in his life and no specific aim. Maybe keeping rest of the things secret is plan of the makers so that ut holds the audience for long.

He has never got love from his mother. The only person who cares for him is nanu. His friends are always with him but they are not those types who will connect to his emotional side. They definitely can do anythibg for him but boys will be boys.

U need a woman in ur life to have that emotional connect. Be it ur mother, sister or a friend. And that only naina can be one for him to whom he can share every small thing about his life.

I have never seen such a deep character in any tv show... Try to know the reason behind his actions... Maybe u will also find the character interesting!

@Bold-agreed as u said Sameer character is much more interesting than Naina... exactly his character is well written and his chatr is multi layered chatr .. but still looks like cvs forget abt how to progress sameer"s Chartr... ok i agreed he is aim less... but thats not means he hv no other work... he loves playing cricket (Cvs can show Arjun playing cricket but no time to show Male lead to do such type of scene) schl m ban hua hai...ghar par nhi ,,waha to khel sakta hai h na with his frends...he loves music... Vishkha competently vanished frm this show,,, cvs not even interested to show her convo with his son or with her father regarding Sameer..

i know yeh show Naina k prospective hai but iska matlab yeh bilkul nhi h ki male ko side chatr ki tarha use karo atleast kuch to dekho Sameer ki family s related ..interest bana rahega...otherwise cvs ll continue like this only naina and her family so slowly slowly everyone ll start losing interesting... to be honest i start muting chnl when naina's famliy drama comes like Naina-sameer kahi bahar bhi mil rahr h to waha Naina k family aa jaate h 😕 And yes Randeep doing a awsome job no doubt 👏

I m disapointed too ... not becoz this shw losing charm but this is only abt Naina...they only interested to show Naina and her family... and sameer... his all scene just related to the bet.. chahye wo with munna-pandit ho ya with nanu... atleast show some his family scene too...Vhiskha i know wo gussa h ..but call kar k apane bete k baare m bhi puch sakte h.itna to dekha hi sakte h cvs... i know everyone ll start saying...naina ki family badi h, orthodox hai, naina k pov s h show but i m feeling so irratating to see they only shw Naina's family scene and her family problem..sameer s related kuch to dekhao...bet ko chodkar..and ab picnic ki permission ko lekar drug karge.🤢 ab ek side par itna jayda focus karoge to shw bor lagega..like yesterday epis ws bor.

nanu ..not even talk abt sameer study...atleast ask him..padai kaise chal rahi h and all...he knows his grandson is not so good in study why he don't talk abt abt extra class i meant titution.

Naina ralated sui jitne baat ko bhi pahad jitna bada kar m dekha rahe h another side sameer ki pahad jitne badi baat ko sui ki problem jitna bhi importance nhi h.🤢

This show is abt sameer -Naina and their family not only abt Naina and her family i think .

I totally agree with you all that Sameer's character lacks focus, and that the story is being told from Naina's point of view; therefore, less emphasis on what Sameer is thinking and doing. In fact, I think the actor playing Sameer (Randeep) is doing a pretty good job, as we still find Sameer to be likeable and endearing on screen, despite not being the main focus like Naina. Some of the small touches that Randeep adds to Sameer really do stand out, and I feel that he is a good foil to Naina. I am quite interested in seeing how both characters progress throughout the show. 😊
