She does not pronounce her name right, and does not correct others also..

Its Padukone , pronounced as padu-ko-nay , she says it like padukon. !! wth

Being a kannadiga myself, its very distressing..

If I am not wrong she is Konkani. My aunt belongs to Kundapur.
I think the way she spells her last name has something to do with the fact her father played in international match and people may have started saying it with e silent. 😊

I never knew that.

I think she should have pinpointed that when she initially entered Bollywood. I feel it's one thing if foreigners can't get your name right, but at least people who can pronounce it correctly, should've been corrected long time ago.
