IMHO, I didn't find it disrespectful. If I was Manoj Kumar, I would not take an iota of offense. I would find it hilarious. But I am not Manoj Kumar, if he took offense, SRK owed him an apology.

Harping on it ten years later doesn't do him any justice. Holding grudges isn't a sign of seniority or maturity.

I assume the main issue is not taking prior consent from him as per the usual norm, I guess he felt it like a disrepectful thing.

Also the people from older generation are bit more serious in nature then we the new gen dear :)

And SRK did give them that apology

But when one gets older, more often than not, we tend to get more touchy about things and do not really find it easy to forget and moveon.. Maybe thats what is happening with Manoj too.. hota hai
