(2007) and that didn't go down well with
the latter. He dragged both actor and
director Farah Khan to the court and now
after 10 years, Manoj Kumar's thoughts
about SRK haven't changed a bit. So recently,
Ranveer Singh posed for a magazine and
did Manoj Kumar's trademark hand-on-the-
face pose.
But, Manoj Kumar appreciated Ranveer and
said that he did in a good taste unlike SRK.
Singh posted the picture on Instagram and
wrote, "Workin' the Manoj Kumar (sic)."
Reacting to the picture, Kumar told a leading
tabloid, "I have seen the snapshot. He has
done a good job of imitating me. I laughed a
lot when I saw the picture. Ranveer is on the
right track."
"Ranveer is a fine artiste. My good wishes
are with him. I have seen his film, Band
Baaja Baaraat [2010]," said Kumar, claiming
that he has acted with Singh's grandmother,
Chand Burke, in a film called Pehchan.
"What Shah Rukh did was hitting below the
belt, what Ranveer did was in good taste,"
he said. For those who don't know, Manoj
Kumar pressed defamation charges on Shah
Rukh Khan and Farah Khan for his satirical
portrayal in the movie Om Shanti Om. But
later took the case back as the actor
apologized for his act.
Well, Ranveer is indeed a lucky chap!

Manoj kumar made a issue of nothing. Actors are mimicked throughout the world. You're a public figure and copying your acting skills or also there will be satires on you. Don't be a crybaby and take it with big heart.

I agree with Manoj Kumar here...We had a huge discussion this before also...i know that imitation is the best form of flattery...but what was done with Manoj Kumar was not flattery ..it was insulting to the veteran actor...and in SRK's defense...when he found out that MK was unhappy...he asked for his forgiveness...log to maanfi bhi nahi maangte aajkal...but what SRK did was wrong...no excuses..

I thought it was an open secret that his grandma was an actress since it's written on Ranveer's IMDB page. Well, she used to play supporting roles in black and white movies, but you can't call Ranveer an insider. As no one cared about character artist Chanda Burke when they met Ranveer, n I doubt he had ever used the I am Chanda Burke's grandson card.
