How is it possible with Alia's fees, great looking locations and an opening scene in foreign country ? I think even SRK was paid for the cameo, though not sure about this.

budget cannot be of 45 crores..as reported by this site...

its matter of common sense..budget cannot be of 45 crores..expensive films ka budget itna hota hai..this is relatively a simple film.

u think Zaira Wasim going to ask for a 20 cr fees ROFL

aamir himself is the producer..

it can't be more than 25 crores..and with that account its a HIT film

we cannot trust any of these sites..BOI is still way better than koimoi etc which don't even bother with research and quote producers figures..no matter how exaggerated..

BOI is also super organized..has the most data..has adjusted net figures of movies way back from 90s..it is fun scrolling on the site at times..

BOI will always be trashed for various reasons

but it is regardless of all the bias and all..considered the most authentic site for box office

Being Producer Doesn't reduce your Film's Budget - BOI

They have added HERO's Market Price in Film's Budget else PRDP doesn't have 180 Cr, DHOOM 3 doesn't have 175 Cr Budget.

Q. You are reporting on the website that the budget of Kaabil is 89 crore and Jolly LLB 2 is 84 crore but others are claiming just 40-50 crore for both films. There can't be such a gap between real and fake budgets?

A. When films with Akshay Kumar and Hrithik Roshan can be made for 50 crore then everybody will run to this business but sadly we have studios shutting up shop because this is not the case. Its all common sense but sadly film journos don't have it. Actually its degrading the stardom of these actors when there films can be made under 50 crore.

So by raising this question, It is very much clear that Both DEAR ZINDAGI & SECRET SUPERSTAR were exempted from adding SRK & AAMIR Fees, BOI Favoured both the film which has 46 Cr & 45 Cr.

Whenever their film is made, their MARKET VALUE is added in Budget. Biggest Example is TUBELIGHT Itself which had as per BOI budget of 60 Cr(Prouction)+20 Cr (P&A) which is 80 Cr, it was Salman's film, it should be easily a HIT, while it's budget is 135 Cr added with 55 Cr of Salman.

According to boi kaabil budget (shot in Mumbai and indoor, hr own home production and obviously low production values) is 89 cr and adhm (with 4 big stars, foreign locations and Better productions value) budget is 98 Cr

Alright then!

I don't know how people think this website is authentic when they change verdicts of decades old movie every now and then. They have a very obvious bias against hrithik and aamir

Judwaa 2 has been released and gone and they don't even know the budget yet..according to them it was a HIT even before the release..there's something fishy in this site definitely. there's nothing strange if this site has blind followers...india got already so many things..example is Ram Rahim 😆

Though I do agree with someone who said koimoi or other sites r not reliable. I agree on that...but stating that BOI is the most accurate is simply outrageous especially given the fact that several loopholes hv come out from their site in all these years...we still don't have reliable sources to calculate box office numbers accurately...not TRP's for teleivsion..people just work generally here..if 100 ppl say a film or a TV show is HIT...its a HIT or a flop that's how it is.
