What is d exact meaning of behenji

I am from south india I understand hindi very well but what is meant by behenji.from day 1 many r calling naina behenji,mani ben what r these.These belong to looks??As of now sameer always treats her as behenji what does it means?? And mani ben??

In Indian English, people sometimes use behenji as a polite way of addressing a woman. nf. mn. countable noun. In Indian English, if you call a young woman a behenji, you mean that she is not sophisticated or modern.

For boys like Sameer gang Behenji means a girl who can't be a lover. Made to stay as a sister forever. More like female version of Munna/Pundit...boys with whom girls only want to keep a relationship of rakhi..."bhayajee" type. Lots of girls call Arjun kind of boys "bhayajee" too. As they don't do fun, don't understand meaning of jokes etc. For girls ...girls who don't go out with guys, sidhi, sadhi, sanskari, makeup less girls. It is not a very bad word. In fact a safe word...as no guy is interested in behenji or propose them anything or want to involve with them in any way. They are more like Mom/Aunty etc.
Maniben is also something like that but similar to tayeejee kind of woman. Old woman who only teaches the boys/girls or chugalkhor, creates dushmani ( war ) between two parties. They think Naina is the spy of her Dad , more like an enemy who is there to ruin their life like tayeejee does...check what tayeejee does with chachi/shefali...sp what tayeehee did on Pujadi's rishta, informed taujee and almost created a fight between chachu and taujee...that's Maniben. 😆
