~~ 10 YEARS OF SONAM~~

It's been 10 years since the beautiful Sonam Kapoor graced the Silver Screen. From Saawarya to Neerja, Sonam has grown has an actor through her diverses collaborations with SLB, ALR, ROM, Shahshank Ghosh or Ram Madhvani. 👏

While she's been written off time and again, she showed that she's here to stay.

A Filmfare Award, a Special Mention from the National Award, a clothing line and the honor of being the first Indian Showstopper at the Paris Fashion week are proof of that and let's hope she'll get many more of the milestones.

I hope Sonam will still do some great work and get to play more meaningful characters as well as fun one.

I'm looking forward to her next movies : Veere Di Wedding, Padman, The Zoya Factor and Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga. ⭐️

MOVIE :

NEERJA because it was such a touching movie. It was well-directed and the cast delivered a great acting.

ROLE :

RAANJHANAA because it was the one who made me realize that Delhi 6 wasn't a fluke. She was great in it. I also loved the fact that Zoya was such a grey character. Selfish and capable of duplicity.

VIDEO CLIP :

MASAKALI : This music video is so fresh. I love me a youthful arrogant and playful Sonam.

Photoshoot :

I love the photoshoot she did for Filfmare in which she reenact divas in cult movies (Madhubala, Mumtaz, Meena Kumari & Waheeda Rehman). I've always wanted to see her in a period movie but alas it won't happen anytime soon.

Congrats to Sonam for finishing 10 years in Bollywood. I loved ILHS , Aisha , Delhi 6 Ranjhana and Neerja..!! I feel she can do much better if given sensible roles.

Sonam is only actress who can play deglam and glam avatars with aplomb and that too effortlessly..!! She has that girl next door looks as well as Fashionista look.

Congratz to Sonam. BW for me would have been far less fun without her. 😃

My choices:

Favourite Movie- Raanjhanaa, followed by Aisha.

Favourite Role- Zoya from Raanjhanaa.

Favourite Video Clip- Abhhi Toh Party from Khubsoorat

Favourite Photoshoot- There are many, but yes the retro photoshoot she did dessed up as yesteryear actresses was stunning.
