Positives about Shakti got to know more about transgenders and intersex through my own research and got to see the acting prowess of Vivian. He surely is one of the best in Hollywood Bollywood and TV combined. Was expecting a unique love story and their struggle against society rather than petty plotting within family.
Whenever we take 1/4 step forward, we go back a 100 steps back! Such foolishness!!!
They have a brilliant story concept that could take them anywhere! It could produce endless new creative ideas and tracks! But, no! They're stuck in a single place, strangely persisting on getting back to the same old track for the millionth time in a row, dragging us [viewers] behind them in endless empty circles with no respect whatsoever to our sensibilities!
I swear, if it weren't for Vivian's popularity, and his & Rubina's brilliant acting and chemistry, I doubt anyone would've bothered with their stupid repeated empty circles! I daresay they wouldn't have achieved 1/100 of the TRPs they take for granted right now!
They're taking advantage of the leads' brilliant talents & popularity, thinking people will continue accepting any $hit indefinitely as long as they[the leads] are there... somewhere!!!
So, they relaxed too much, and stopped doing any effort in trying to even trace any half-new track to its natural destination! No, they have to cut back to same old comfort zone of Preeto&Co hell house, revisiting the same old themes in a slightly different manner again and again and again and...*dead*
If this concept were in the hands of half decent creators, they could've produced gold with it; but alas... we're stuck with those lazy, anything-but-creative creators!
