Will come back later and listen to the songs posted here... and, some of the instances where singers took me by surprise are --

Shreya Ghoshal --- Oo lala oo lala

Sonu Nigam --- No Entry (don't ask why, i just found it very different :p )

Tulsi Kumar --- Nachange Saari Raat ..this one was a total surprise

Actually, Shreya Ghoshal always surprises me with how naturally she singsTelugu, Malayalam and Tamil songs.. Even if I have listened to the song million times before, she makes me wonder in awe everytime with how beautifully and naturally she sings South Indian songs.

Shreya is very good in regional languages. I love listening to her Marathi songs. Her tone is very natural. I have heard many other BW singers sing in Marathi but somehow you can make out the person singing doesn't know the language & isnot natural. Shreya's pronunciation of rural dialect was also good in sairat song.

I have heard few of her south Indian songs like munbe va & mannipaya. And I really loved it even though I don't know the language. 😳 If you know more such songs please suggest. I would love to listen.
