EDT~ ep 8.1.11.17.My Stance~ To bear our cross..
We all have to bear the cross of our heartaches, troubled minds, on our shoulders. How we endure, and go through with it depends on the kind of person we are? Today's episode for me is all about how various characters, stand up to events past or present and how they survive and soldier on.. after all life is all about dealing with scenarios thrown at us some expected , while others totally out of the blue!
Shranaya deals with her gremlins, strange visitations, much mental wrestling between what is real or a figment of her imagination! The sudden unexplained feeling, she is not alone , round and round her mind spins, as she hopelessly tries to make sense of something above her in the dark night sky, sounds, green plants turn to black rot. Her screams resound in terror, flees the terrace in panic!
Another woman, a mother moans that she is far from drunk. Madhvi is possibly an alcoholic. Addicts never admit they have a problem. They are in denial of their habit. Rajan tends to his wife and reckons it's pointless keeping her awake, she is well and proper sloshed! He is aware her drinking is triggered by Vyom's absence, her but natural love for her son, which is fine, but what is unacceptable is Madhvi's malice towards Sharanya .Once more he reiterates the girl is Vyom's love just like she is his..pity she disbelieves him. The woman clearly is insecure she reckons both of them Rajan and herself are living some lie, minus any emotional bonding.He dismisses her as drunk and stalks off. Seems he has no time for her. Madhvi appears to be a wife suffering from neglect.. anxious, seems both the men in her life have driven her to drinking.. phased out she smirks, nowadays , untruth bears more weight than truth itself! The sad wife goes to bed drunk..alone.. she tried being coquettish but Rajan rejects ..
Her son Vyom too attempts to wallow his sorrows in an on the rocks stiff drink. For him it's a sense of rejection he feels, clearly brought about by Sharanya's memory loss. He may have taken on board his father putting his mother to bed in a drunken stupor. Before the drink touches his lips, a past memory begins to intoxicate him.. FB, those moon lit walks with Sharanya, in semi drunk state, just the two of them.. she'd protest about his drinking, how he vowed never to touch liquor again.. like the small bonfire that burnt was his love for her.. for her anything , and he recalls tipping over the spirit.. all because she cared for his wellbeing..how she teased him, he'd forget his promises by morning.. he looks at his drink and recalls his words to her.. Vyom can become oblivious of himself, but promises made to Sharanya he'd never he'll never forget! So letting go of her easily? Forgetting her ? giving her up ,part of his discipline as well? It s clear he feels passionate even about the promises he made to her.However ,very much like his mother Vyom feels near Sharanya yet so far.. seems some like someone or something was dragging her away from him. Madhvi though feels her son Vyom is being pulled away from her by Sharanya!The flashback ,actually somewhat lifts him out off some of his moroseness. Like alcohol transports his mother into a state of nocturnal numbness..
The agony of the girl, a little less, then she was. Her mind is a labyrinth of the indefinite blank bits. One second of past images, then flashes and black outs. How can she find her way to the past hurled at her, by her near ones. Her reaction is one to lock! bolt! Secure doors windows! herself against someone ,something. Fear paralyzes her reason. Short term recent memory recall, and she chants, hallucinations! Hallucinations! She is seeing things , hearing things around her, so no reality ,just her delusions! To calm and divert herself from seeing things, she switches on the radio. The frequency and sound waves, agitate her mind further! A song sounds, nameless, unseen, am I. Swathed in a blanket of silence a figure sits back to back with Sharanya. Stargazer lilies fragrance hangs around in the air. She gathers herself, stay clear of seeing things! Of course there was none behind her! yet again she flees, after she smashes the radio. Yet again her action to cover herself by a duvet is to shield herself against something some one unseen! Tormented she yet again mumbles the word, hallucinations! to herself as a stern reminder, not to be swept away by strange, sounds, sights..
Hallucination or flash images of a horrific memory? Sharanya ,wishes should never have happened.. driving her father, earlier he broke the law of using his phone while driving..then she was at the wheel, much to the angst of her mother. The winding narrow precarious mountainous roads.. Anything could happen. It did! Mishap happens! Car collides with a cycle! Images of her injured father! the fallen bicycle! A sign post Kapali five miles! A man too lay injured on the road! Stargazer lilies lay beside him! panic! How she tried to awaken him ! another car comes from the opposite direction! Yes.. she recalls.. but then the image fades away! And she hurls back to reality! The rocking chair in the room rocks.. a ghostly being sits in it!!was she hallucinating? Seeing things?
Father and son brisk briefing.. exchanging verbal feedback on Sharanya's .progress. Apart from this, Rajan can make out signs of slight bored frustration on Vyom's face, his guitar and imagination both seem without melody.. Rajan equates it to Sharanya lukewarm manner towards vyom. Rajan advices him to show perseverance .. as the girl has only just returned back to the real world from a coma! She will be fearful and much afraid! Vyom reports, of her recent experiences, felt by her as shared with her family.. Rajan Bedi though reinforces ,that Vyom needs to find out how much does Sharanya know? I suspect about the collision between the car and the cyclist! Flippantly Vyom asks his father, could it be possibly that Sharanya has something or some paranormal presencel in her life?? Vyom wants to justify Sharanya's off hand manner towards himself Rajan laughs it off as being too farfetched a notion!
Well, Shiv was bold in his manner, sitting back to back with Sharanya.. rocking in more signs, clearer images.. of an injured cyclist; a locality, and finally Aditiya's room to which Sharanya is strangely drawn too.. the lap top's desk top image is a mountainous terrain.. the title flashes the venue Kapali ! she panics wants to know more.. but her brother bids her to sleep. Fear grips her, and she sleeps in Aditiya room.. the tall figure with sails in and checks the images on the lap top, with blood shot eyes.. then a voice over.. there was a crazy lover.. to forget past things is not bad, as restless are those who remember everything.. hamlet53 2.11.17
I would say a key episode.. we find out about the accident, the injured cyclist.. not sure about his identity.. Sharanya recollects quite a fair bit.. and going by the precap , she is off to carry out further investigations..quite fearlessly as she goes on her own.. Vyom follows in hot pursuit.. his father told him not to lose sight of her. But then the ghost too keeps an eye on both Vyom and Sharanya .. the show gets exciting by every episode..now waiting upon Shiv's arrival ...
