From the sounds of it, seems the writers have regressed Kirti's character. If she had made progress, why push her back. Guess victims do have their off days.
I hope they make progress!! I like the actress, so I might be biased...lol

Great discussion girls!

i can sympathize with naksh as yes he has done mistake but hes trying hard to get over it,to make it up to ppl he has let down but definitrly not keerti.thr is no way shes representing those girls whi hv gone through an abusive marrg.the contrast is happening due to her 2nd marrg..if shes still weak,if shes still docile she wouldnt hv been brave enough to go to another marrg without properly knowing that person.what she knows abt naksh?nothing.saw her outer layer n falling in love is nvr a characteristic of a tortured girl.they dont take the risk of falling in love when everything else is tough for them.thr is no layers no emotions nothing.u cant say she has done 1thing for herself.this is whr shes been shown regressive.they shouldnt show a character who needs pushing all the time.a girl with a tortured past r much more matured n strong than keerti is.

It's entirely your opinion but the thing is Keerti is confusing. She never says anything that's on her mind. She needs to come out of her shell more.

Disliking Keerti is like not giving the abused women a chance to try to sort their life. I know very well be cause this is my profession.

Keerti is reacting the way victims do. She will heal and be a better and a stronger person with Naksh, Naira and Kartik on her side.

I completely agree with you. She isn't going to change overnight. It takes small steps. I think the progression in her will start by her decision to not go to America and go back to her in-laws. For whatever reason, she'll make that decision on her own.

Not just one time, this has to happen all the time. She can't rely or depend on others when she needs help. She needs to overcome her difficulties and show bravery and confidence. The reason for this is because, if she lands in trouble no one will be there to rescue her like Shuddi karan. She needs to learn how to fight and stand up for herself

Lets face it, a typical india drama doesn't really know how to handle a character like Kirti well. When we see characters like kirti on tv we viewers expect the character to go from being a bruised victim to a superwoman- maybe gradually but no dips in between. It's the same for many shows.

It doesn't help that the writers didn't do a good job at understanding this character and what she would be feeling. A lot of people find it difficult to understand why she would jump at the chance to marry Naksh after her traumatic last marriage. In reality there could be many reasons for her behaviour but in soapland, sadly, they don't count.

I have to agree on this, I too think that they rushed with the marriage track

Yes i agree but that happens steadily, one decision at a time. With the help of the writers we should see that happening now- fingers crossed.
