After today's episode, I have some theories and observations to share with you all. BTW, long post alert.
First, some faltu observations 😛-
- The Bishts are middle class? Someone make me their brand of middle class too, please? 😆 Ya ghar Bedis se loan pe liya hai?
- Sharanya's daily routine: look around wide-eyed, scream and run away. Poor girl has nothing else to do these days.
- Radio: Damn, Sharanya went ham on that radio. How come no one in the house heard her? Radio bhi bhootiya hai kya? Only she can see, hear and feel it?
- Sharu hiding under her blanket- I laughed. That was some ninja level speed with which she covered herself.
Now, coming to the important part.
My Theory.
Since the beginning I have been of the opinion that Sharanya and Shiv were in love with each other and Vyom mistook Sharanya's friendship for love. Vyom's flashbacks have shown SharOm interact so I don't think their interactions are total fiction or at least they're half truths. However, nowhere in Vyom's flashbacks does Sharanya ever explicitly say she loves him. If we didn't have Vyom's account to convince us they were in love, we could very well assume they were friends.
The Proposal- I feel on the day Vyom proposed to Sharanya, she might have looked so happy 'cause Shiv had just proposed to her with the Stargazers. She wanted to tell him that but Vyom proposed to her before that. We see her smiling but never see the full interaction so maybe the smile slid off her face and she revealed the Stargazers and that she had accepted Shiv's proposal 'cause she loved him. Vyom would have been heartbroken, perhaps even angry to hear this. Sharanya leaves and ShivAnya decide to tell her parents about their mutual love for each other.
I am not sure about this part but here goes- Vyom tells Rajan about these events and either Rajan or Vyom&Rajan together plan an accident to kill Shiv so Vyom can have Sharanya to himself. Shiv and Sharanya are on their way to tell the Bishts about their love story when they meet with an "accident". Shiv is left to die whereas Sharanya is saved by Vyom/Rajan. Maybe they were not aware Sharanya was in the car and the accident was solely intended to kill Shiv. Sharanya fell into a coma after the accident (convenient) and Shiv died, so there was no evidence of any wrongdoing.
Post Sharanya's coma, Vyom has presented distorted facts to her as evidence of their love story and since her parents say they were not aware of what happened at Sharanya's college, he can just fill in the gaps as and how he wants.
The possibility that Vyom is totally innocent doesn't make sense 'cause Sharanya keeps mentioning how she doesn't feel right when Vyom is around, she doesn't feel it in her heart etc. That indicates SharOm were not together before her accident. Instead, she feels Shiv. He also has referred to his 'deewangi' which is a pretty big hint that he might be the deewana and not Shiv. Or maybe they're both deewanas but just different kinds.
There are some holes in my theory, I know. This is what I think based on the incomplete info the makers have presented.
My theory on how this accident ties in with this whole story. She had 2 accidents. We know the second one sent her into a coma but what was the significance of the first accident?
Sharanya and her dad hit Shiv on the cycle near Kapali Hills. This is how they met.
Here's my reasons for Shiv being on the cycle-
1. So, a cycle is not used by rich people and I don't think Vyom's dad would let him use one anyway. Shiv might have been from a middle class family which is why he couldn't afford another means of transportation
2. The Stargazers- We have seen from the beginning how stargazers have been associated with Shiv. Vyom doesn't even know they are her favourite flowers. Every time Sharanya has encountered them, it's been through Shiv.
I know a lot of people think Sharanya is responsible for Shiv's death, 'cause of Shiv's poetic promises to send her to the grave, but I believe otherwise. Two theories here-
1. Shiv thinks she left him to die. Operative word being 'thinks'. Vyom/Rajan could have taken Sharanya away from the location and Shiv might have thought she abandoned him when she had no say in the matter. 'Cause if it were Rajan/Vyom who were responsible and Shiv knows, he would be plotting revenge against them and not her. Maybe along the line Shiv will discover Sharanya was not in cahoots with the Bedis.
2. Shiv's shaayari doesn't necessarily have to be about him. Maybe he is referring to Vyom's motives? This is a weak theory, but could be possible.
So, after all that rambling, would love to know what you all thought.
