Reading this thread has changed my life. Ekta is awesome. Her serials seem to be even better than anything dished out by Golmaal series. Ridiculous plot line, reason why India is over populated, all kind of geometric shaped relations. I am sold.. 😆

i can never get enough of all these K soap discussions😆 my two cents on some of the talks going on here.

I agree as an actor, Saakshi is probably the strongest ever from Balaji camp! Shweta on the other hand, was imho the prettiest when she was younger. Smriti despite being a bigger name than Saakshi and Shweta back then, was someone i never liked or warmed up to.

About Surveen, she's another actor I've always loved. I hated the way they ended Charu's character, and i still wish she went back to Akshat instead of dying, likewise replacing and bumping her character off in KZK was also lame. Kasak and Shravan had nothing working for them, and most shows that try aping the original leads to go ahead with the new generation rarely succeed as it is. If she wanted Kasak to be that generation's lead, she should've given them a better story.

Karan Nandini, the least they deserved after all that pain, was a happy ending with their son, and it was a shame poor Nandini never got closure. the twist at the end of kyunki remains the funniest thing I've ever seen in my life🤣🤣 Parvati ke itne bure din aa gaye that she became a kidnapper🤣🤣

The weirdest thing about Surveen's character, Kasak, was that she was touted as the next Prerna, and for a while after the leap she was the central focus of the show. And then she got pregnant and they packed her off to the designated pregnancy/extramarital affair hill station... and she just vanished from the show! Everyone forgot her existence! Then Prerna discovers her long lost son Prem and he becomes the defacto lead for the new generation. The show went on for years after that and no one ever mentioned Kasak. It drove me nuts!!

yeah ekta is unfortunately brutal like that. she had her leads for the each generation fixed, but if they didn't deliver, she didn't think once before pushing them aside and bringing another character to the front. she did the same with Ganga Sahil and Karan Nandini too, Ganga was touted as the next Tulsi, and no doubt she was still relevant later on too, but they were pushed aside for Karan Nandini regardless. the same thing happened with Kasak, her track unfortunately couldn't deliver, so she was more or less forgotten with time. it was a real shame, she deserved a better end.

^ok, but she was Prerna's daughter and she is just never mentioned again! At least in Kyunki Ganga and Saahil and Gautam stuck around even if they weren't as important anymore. Their parents didn't forget them, lol.

she did that in Kahaani too, Gayatri Om Parvati's daughter, she goes missing and no one cares, then she also dies and still no one cares. let alone caring, they never even talk about her again. Kyunki was somewhat better at handling the huge cast they had in place, the other two shows did a awful awful job. if I'm not wrong even Sneha disappears near the end and she's never mentioned again either. even when both her parents die and Bajaj goes mad. Ekta just didn't know what the eff to do with such a big cast sadly.😆 Kasak was another victim of the too big of a cast to care.😆 and Prerna though she'd never admitted it, she had an obvious bias towards her kids with Anurag, which was another reason she never gave an eff about poor Kasak.

Never like hiten gauri most over rated couple they hardly work widout each other which was quite boring.. kzk was a gr8 show .. Shweta was awesum as prerna

Wow!! 16 Years!! 🥳

KZK was an iconic show of it's time.

Anurag and Prerna shared good chemistry. Lol I hated it, when Ekta introduced Mr Bajaj for the love triangle and kept him till the end of the show. Ugh!! Because of him Anurag and Prerna never got together. 😭

Also second best thing about KZK was Prem, he was soo good at playing spoilt brat UD! 😆😎
Literally Loved Anurag-Prerna-Prem angle!! 👍🏼❤️

Kamolika has to be the best vamp lol. 😈😎

Thanks god!! Ekta reunited Anurag-Prerna at the end of the show. ⭐️
