But being distracted by many other unrelated stuff during the 1st read, I was not able to appreciate right away. It was difficult to follow the narrative transitions from one character to another, which has less to do with your writing style.
The 2nd time I read your piece, with full attention, it made sense and it was beautiful. ❤️ Especially considering every one of the emotional set pieces differ from each other- from the impatient, somewhat volatile longing (Sudha) to the loss felt hardest by the bereaved parents who drifted away in every way from each other long back but find togetherness in mourning for their child(Baldev-Satrupa) to a journey of two young hearts who are new in this game (Adhiraj-Anami), who found each other to be capable of soothing their own hurt and anger and even laugh together forgetting for a moment that they are surrounded by one after another ruthless and seasoned players- you captured all of these emotions in one single little OS! 👏

I am so going to pester you for many more OS on various characters from RKC! 😆

Aww, I can completely relate to that. Sometimes you read something, and you are not even in the shoes to relate to it - and then after some time, it's like oh yeah ! I am late to so many posts on this forum just bcoz of that 😆 - ; and by that time half the action is over, coz it's usually a discussion .

Bang on ! That's exactly what I hoped to convey, and you have expressed it so beautifully here. Thank you so much ! Sure, all pestering is welcome 😆😉

The one on Sudha, was achingly beautiful.
I wish to see Satrupa and BD end up like this one day in the show.

Loved the poem for MiRaj, they're the ones left behind, holding hope.
did u write the poetry or is it from the show? The poems are just brilliant.👏

Thank you so much simran ! Glad to hear from you ! Yes, I wish they would just forget all the misgiving and just hear out each other. Actually all those bits are parts of songs, which I felt would connect across the piece. For instance the title - is applicable to everyone right ? Everyone needs company, and would be desperate enough to hang on to a memory, or the person a bit longer if possible. Then the song for Sudha suits her - b'coz the pic I had in mind was this stage she had reached, she has forgotten her sane mind. The emotions - tears, smile. Every one of it has a meaning to it - revenge. No reality to it. Where has the real Sudha gone to ?

With DevRupa - it was obviously a quote from his diary. It is a song, chunar - dedicated by a son to his mother. Apt lyrics to the situation. Vatsalya had no reason to live his life to the fullest in Lal Mahal. That's why he lost the race. So I wanted him to somehow console Satrupa through the diary. That he will shine through Anami.

The MiRaj one is actually dedicated to the entire family from Vatsalya. As the date suggested it was supposed to be an entry from his diary, wile he lived. He explains how life - and moving on is just based on hopes and believes. Unknowingly, he has hinted the upturn that would shaked up Lal Mahal. 😳

Being forsaken by a beloved getting to know a truth that was suppressed helplessly abandoning one of your own in the hope of saving the other and failing and going after what you let go
The sense of abandonment the feeling of hurt the discovery of truth and the reluctance to reconcile with reality
The shattering of their sweet best a father imprisoned losing a mother in time losing a childhood had transformed him into a serious officer unwilling to smile
Time has come clfor exploring redemption or retribution.
Hope is a better balm than revenge.

Oh my god that was beautiful. Just as mysterious and dreamy as your pen name.😉 Yes, true hope is always more radiant and glowing than revenge. And that hope was somwhere Vatsalya. Who somehow lives through Anami now. If only she realized that. 😊

Ammu I read your posts on Shruthis reviews. My name is Vidya and I was on the thread with my full name like Shruthi. Later I decided to give myself a Moniker. In Tamil you have several authors choosing their wife's name as their own name. My husband in Chandramouli. It translates to moonwearer...so the moniker...

In some cultures the name given to a new born represent a the hopes aspirations and dreams tied up with it. Vatsalya had lived up to it had been a balm to every one.
Vikram seems to be carrying on his back the biases and blind beliefs he has assimilated as values.

Ohh that is just beautiful Vidya ! The reason or rather the dreaminess behind that name just increases. Oh the notion is so romantic ! 😳 Thank you so much for letting me in on this sweet detail ! Yes, I know these purely based on the fact that my grandparents were brought up they, as was my mother ! 😃

Yes, vatsalya - itself shows affection right ? And Anami - she has been unamed as to show the vagueness and veiled aura of what her reign will bring about ! Yes, Vikram is truly blinded by thes beliefs, and it will take a huge blow or a shocker to upturn things ! 😉

Thank you guys for liking my OS and taking out time to review it ! Your comments help me understand, where I can improvise and what you like ! 😃

But the reason, I am writing down - is to share and express the pleasant and unexpected joy I got when Satrupa sang this song I used for the title of my OS ~ for the exact same reasons I used it here against relations - which signify the moments of despair and longing. The wish for just a little bit time more, or few more memories. Such an unexpected devastation. The heart has not had its fill yet. So please don't leave now. Thank you so much CVs , for granting this tiny wish of mine , unknowingly his sahi ! 😆😃
