Explain why it matters for favored winner to BB than TRP?

Every now and then i read about this HM is Favored , selected to be winner, Can anyone explain why ? what profit does BB gains from it?

Its hard for me put things straight as TRP is what most matters to show, i think its thr first priority. They may be selective for top 3 or 5 , but how a winner makes a huge difference than a runner up for BB?

Someone who tried to participate on a reality show had mentioned that the winner is usually never decided too early. The producers keep their options open and go with the flow...based on trps and public reaction. They do not control the contestants' behavior directly, to keep it natural...but they control the rules and edits.Also, the top few rankers are the ones with potential to get work after BB as the channel gets a cut on all work they do.

In the Bachelor US, they usually have 2-3 contenders (or fan favorites) to be the next bachelor...and they build their stories through good edits, based on public reaction on the Bachelorette season before it.

I think most of the time fixed winner is used as an allegation to bring down a contestant you do not like, in the absence of any strong arguments.

Found this article having general info of BB winner season 1-9 work over the years after winning. Doesnt seem that BB winner contribute to show or channel much after winning.
