Raman went out angrily punching appa tight when Toshiji said Mr bhalla -bhalla ji, Aap jaiye raman ke saath. He badly need someone at this time.
Mr bhalla nodded and went out with Raman instructing all their drivers to go and search for Ruhi around the city.
On the other hand, ishita crushed on the floor crying. Toshiji, amma and kaki ji tried to console her but she was inconsolable.
Ishita -har baar mere saath hi aisa kyun hota hai maa. Meri zindagi mein khushi aate aate chali jaati hai. Meri bachchi ke saath kya kar diya, meri nanhi si pari Kahan hogi maa.meri bachchi laa do mujhe. She was saying and crying while amma went to appa and said -sharam aa rahi hai thodi si bhi. Kaise aisa kar diya vishwa, apni beti ki bachchi ke saath. Agar usse kuch hua naa, Raman aur ishita ka toh nahi pata but I will never forgive u. Tumne bahut galat kiya Ruhi ke saath. Woh hamari grandchild hai.
Appa -really, kabhi kareeb bhi aane diya kya tumhari beti ne hume uske. Hamara haq Ek naukarani ko de diya. Toh jao, now ask her to bring Ruhi. He was saying when Toshiji said-bhagwaan ke liye Aap yahan se chale jaiye, Isse pehle ki main thakke marwa kar aapko baahar kar doon. Just get lost. Aap jaisa ghatiya aadmi nahi chahiye mujhe meri ghar mein. She screamed and he went away. Slowly all guest too went away consoling them.
Half an hour passed like this, all were crying and praying for ruhi's well-being. Everyone's condition wax bad but Ishita's condition was pathetic. She was not getting even how to breathe without her daughter. She was sobbing continuously for Ruhi.
They were looking at the main door waiting for raman to bring Ruhi but saw raman coming all worn out with mr bhalla. His eyes were red and puffy while face was all full of tears. He sat on the door and cried hugging his legs to his chest. Mr bhalla went to console him and he started crying his heart out.
Everyone was shocked seeing the raman's condition. The man who was acting strong till now finally broke down in Mr bhalla's arms.
Raman -mujhe meri beti chahiye papa, please koi meri ruhi laa do. Main mar jaaunga uske bina, agar usse kuch ho gaya toh Main nahi jee paaunga.mujhe meri bachchi chahiye,mujhe meri ruhi chahiye. Please laa do, Kahan chali gayi meri bachchi, meri jaan. Woh itni choti hai, uske itne nanhe nanhe pair hai, woh kahan chali gayi Itni jaldi. We searched all the near by places, Kahin nahi hai. Aakhir kahan chali gayi meri beti. Please laa do papa, meri bachchi please laa do. He said crying bitterly holding his hands in front of his father while all cried seeing his condition. He was just so vulnerable without Ruhi while Mr bhalla was just trying to console him.
Every eyes turned moist seeing his pain while amma felt ashamed of her husband for telling that raman is not ruhi's father.
He was crying bitterly hugging mr bhalla when kaki ji came running and said -ruhi ka pata chal gaya. She said making everyone look at her.
Raman got up at once and said -kahan hai meri rooh.
Kaki ji -city hospital mein.
Raman -hospital, kya hua usse.
Kaki ji -dont know ,one of my kirtan friend saw a couple taking her to hospital. She called me chalo. She said and all ran to the hospital.
Within half an hour all reached the hospital. Raman asked for the little baby came to hospital on reception. Receptionist told them that she is in ICU.
All got shocked and ran to ICU and saw kaki ji's friend standing there with a couple.
Kaki ji ran to her and asked about Ruhi.
She told -i was coming back from Kirtan when I saw this couple going somewhere picking Ruhi in their arms so I chased them and came here.
Raman got angry hearing this and went to the couple and said turning the man -bol tune kya kiya meri beti ne saath, bol warna jaan le lunga. He said clutching his collar in anger.
Man -see humne kuch nahi kiya. We were going back to our home ki achanak yeh bachchi rote hue hamari car ke saamne aa gayi. Maine brake maara and we came out of the car. She was sobbing continuously and i picked her in my arms trying to ask who is she and how she got lost. But she was too scared, or shocked to say anything. She was shivering badly and before we could understand she fainted. So we bring her here.
Raman -tu jhooth bol raha hai naa, tune accident kiya hai naa uska. He said angrily.
Man-nahi Mr, trust me. Aap chahe toh doctor se puch le, aapki bachchi ko ek kharoch bhi nahi aayi hai.she fainted herself so we brought her here. Dekhiye main bhi ek bachche ka baap hoon and I totally understand what u r going through but trust me, Humne kuch nahi kiya aapki beti ko.
Raman cried hearing this and said -meri beti ICU mein hai, Dekho naa kya ho gaya usse. He said resting his head on the unknown person's shoulder while he just consoled him that soon his daughter will be fine.
Everyone was crying seeing his condition when they saw doctor coming out of the ICU. They ran to the doctor and raman asked -kaisi hai meri bachchi.
Doctor look at them and asked -aap kaun.
Raman -raman bhalla, woh meri beti hai, kaisi hai woh.
Doc-aap logon ko koi responsibility hai ki nahi. Itni choti bachchi ko akela chod diya, kuch bhi ho sakta tha iske saath. He was saying when raman held his collar and said -mujhe tera lecture nahi chahiye, just tell me how's my daughter.
Doc -be in ur limits, u Mr.
Mr bhalla make raman released doctor's collar and said -please usse maaf kar dijiye, he is not in his senses. Bahut pyaar karta hai woh apni bachchi se.
Doc -i understand but being a father he should be more careful, agar aap logon ne khayal kiya hota toh aaj woh bachchi iss haalat mein nahi hoti.kaise baap hai apni beti ka khayal bhi nahi rakh paaye.
Raman -aisa nahi hai doctor, main bahut pyaar karta hoon apni Ruhi se. u r telling I should be more careful, hamesha apne seene se lagaa kar rakha hai Maine apni bachchi ko, Aaj bhi thi woh mere saath, meri buri kismat thi that I left her hand. He said hitting his head in frustration. Ishita ran to him and hugged him tight saying -raman, please control urself.
Raman -tum batao ishita, tumne to dekha hai how much I have loved her, phir yeh kaisa keh sakte hai that I am careless. Main careless nahi hoon, it's just I couldn't keep her protected. He was saying and crying making ishita cry too. She hugged him tight and both cried together.
Doctor felt bad for them and said -I am really sorry for my words but ur child is not fine. He said making everyone look at him.
Raman broke the hug and said -kya hua, meri ruhi ko.
Doc -she is not fine, uska bp bahut jyada hai. We r trying to make her sleep but she is not sleeping. She is sobbing continuously in her unconscious state also. Agar uska bp aise hi bada toh,
Raman -toh, he asked fearing the worst.
Doc -uska heart fail ho sakta hai. He said making everyone shocked.
Raman clutched his collar and said -kya bakwaas kar rahen hai, she is just a baby. 15 months ki bachchi hai woh. Uska heart kaise fail ho sakta hai, she is just so small.
Doc -tabhi toh, uske nanhe dil par koi gehri chot pahunchi hai joh woh bardasht nahi kar paa rahi. He said making all cry for Ruhi.
Raman felt his collar and said falling down -dont say like this, meri bachchi ko bacha lijiye. Kuch bhi kijiye par usse bacha lijiye. He said folding his hands, ishita too say next to him and both cried hugging each other tight.
Raman look at ishita and said -I am sorry, naa main tumhari zindagi mein aata aur naa aaj yeh sab hota. Sorry ishita, I couldn't protect my family. He said folding his hand to her too while she just hugged him tight and said -aap please mat roiye raman, hum kuch nahi hone denge apni Ruhi ko. Suna aapne ,we will save her. She said acting strong seeing him so devastated.
Raman looked at her and said -please save her, main bahut pyaar karta hoon usse.
Ishita -i know Raman, u love her alot. Aur hum apne bachchi ko kuch nahi hone denge. She said and both look at the doctor.
Doc -we need to make her sleep. Woh itni choti hai ki hum usse koi bp ki medicine yaa injection bhi nahi de sakte. The only way to make her relax is to make her sleep. She is taking her papa's name in her unconscious state. I think if her papa goes to her,she can sleep. He said giving ishra hope.
