Caught up with a lot of work ----- it doesn't let me heave a sigh of relief!
Well, no more waiting and here comes the first chapter and yes, I have decided to make it an SS!
Its a very short one to begin with!

CHAPTER 1 : THE SNOW'FLAMES'
The snow seemed to shiver as a dark green leaf landed in it and rested beside a bunch of pink star-gazers.
Winter had just bid goodbye to the Earth and it was time for spring to arrive at its doorstep, but a sheet of snow with flakes in it adorned the stony path. None knew from where the leaf arrived, as there was not a single tree nearby. The leaf began to wither away and the star-gazers looked up to nowhere. There wasn't any star in the dark sky on the night of the full moon, when the moon was expected to beautify its surroundings. The snowflakes were broken, one by one, and all merged with the snow except one.
The cold wind blew, and the ground became parched. The black owl seemed to be the only living presence of the night. It hooted silently, as if it were welcoming someone. The rabbits in their burrows were roused from their deep slumber. The dry blades of grass rose in the air and settled on the sheet of snow. The dog in the garden looked everywhere, but a bark did not escape his mouth when the star-gazers slowly turned white.
The last snowflake shook violently as it lay in mid-air. A flame appeared in it. It had traces of yellow and orange in it, but was mostly red. It was unable to melt the snowflake but when a moth appeared near it, the creature was lulled to eternal sleep. Some petals of the star-gazers withered away, while some lay still. The leaf was burnt to ashes by the thing that fell on it. The owl stopped its hooting and flew away to a distant place. The rabbits peeped out of their burrows and looked at the ashes. The dry blades of glass sank in the snow, and the dog in the garden fell asleep.
The snowflake landed on the ground with the flame still burning in it. It rested beside the ashes of leaf and did not move an inch. The rabbits in the burrows were terrified and went back to sleep as a tear-like drop of blood glistened in the snow, and a pair of eyes monitored the burning flame.
Aag ko jalte rehne ke liye chingaari ki zaroorat nahi padhti,
Usse to bas koi hawa na bujha de,
Dard ko zinda rehne ke liye tanhai ki zaroorat nahi padhti,
Usse to bas koi dawa na mitaa de.
