Karan Johar is known to launch star kids and has a knack to spot potential talents. Indian cricket team skipper Virat Kohli recently proved his mettle as an actor in an ad also featuring his girlfriend Anushka Sharma.
Karan was seen showering Virat with immense praise as soon as the advertisement made its way to the web. "What a lovely ad Abhishek Varman has directed for #Manyavar and @imVkohli is an outstanding actor," he wrote.
A little birdie informs us that Karan is apparently keen to sign Virat in one of his movies.
Well, this would be a great collaboration, isn't it? Can't wait!
Meanwhile, rumours mill is abuzz with reports of Virat tying the knot with Anushka Sharma this December.
According to sources, Virat has taken leave in December citing personal reasons and won't be available for selection for a test match and limited overs series against Sri Lanka. However, a source in the know refuted the rumours saying that the duo has no such plans.
