Shivaay recreated her childhood to replace the lonely and sad one she had. She never got to experience the little joys of childhood like playing with dolls, having a doll house of her own, eating infinite number of sweets during Diwali etc. And today, Shivaay gave her all of this and more. That feeling of being overwhelmed with happiness on Anika's face was so touching to see. Kudos to SC for nailing the scene.

"Tumhara bachpan wapas lauta nahi sakta mein, lekin mein wapas la sakta hu jo yaadein tumne bachpan mein miss ki thi. Bahut kuch aisa hoga na jo tum chahti thi par nahi mila. Der se hi sahi Anika mein tumhari har vo wish puri karunga. Tumhari bachpan ki yaadein mein badal nahi sakta lekin mein vaada karta hu tumse ki tum aur mein nahi yaadein banayenge sath milkar aur un yaadon mein sirf aur sirf khushiya hongi."

Such beautiful lines by Shivaay. For me this scene was not about the confession but about Shivaay's pure love and protectiveness towards Anika. He is like a Father to her who fulfills her every wish even before she asks for it. He is like a Mother to her who sees her pain even when she hides it. He is like a best friend to her who teases her over her silly antics. And he is the Husband who would do everything to make her the happiest woman on this earth.

This is what I call true redemption & character development. Thank you Gul for envisioning him, HS for writing him, NM for playing him so perfectly and SC for being the perfect ASSO to SSO.

The girl who has suffered so much in past, who was so scared to even with name of love or happiness, have always been insecure of her relationship, kept her feelings guarded to herself - the same girl now is so much secure, demands everything with haq, shows her love without another thought <3

And SSO progression, I dont even have any words to say about it.

The guys calling her sadak ka kooda now keeps her "sar ankhon pe" her one smile is precious than everything to him.

His ILU today were mere words because his actions spoke volume. He gave her memorial Diwali, created all those things which she missed in childhood and had wished to get. Till now she had all dark memories of Diwali but now he replaced all of them with sweet/happy memories. Now she will always remember diwali as Shivaay said ILU to her on Diwali.

@Bold-red part: Oh I so wanted someone to point this. If not then I was going to make post on this.

He is her everything father/mother/friend/husband everything. He protects her & fulfills each of her wish like a father. She does all cute antics/baby like demands like we do with our mother. He feeds her,take cares of every single detail as a mother, sees pain behind her smile like a mother, she really becomes like a baby with him sometimes. He teases her like a best buddy, does all sort of drama with her be in acting,teasing, argues with her and then He loves/cares for her like a loving husband.

She doesn't need any grand gesture from him like he keeps doing, just he himself is enough for her world to light up.

PS: when I watched episode at first I thought it was rushed but then in second watch(putting all which I watched in segment) I found it very beautiful and complete specially before and after scene. The way anni teased him that she thought he wouldn't say - this is how shivika are ❤️

Yes in case of SSO action matters more but I do wish that video confession is used at a right time and in a right way. Anika deserves to see that 14 minutes of pure beauty 😳

Whatever shikayat I have over the execution of the scene today, it was truly a heartfelt gesture by Shivaay to create new beautiful memories for Anika and Shivika especially Shivaay's journey to become an Ishqbaaz is undoubtedly one of the best I've seen in Indian telly. Credit goes to NM -SC, they rise above all the randomness that happens in IB and continue to hold our interest ❤️
