First of all money,jobs and finances are something practical that no tv show bothers to address properly

These matters are brought into light only when the script is needed to be twisted.

Secondly,whatever relation Suraj shares with his father,he is his son and the Rajvanshis are what is called "Khandaani raees".

Boys born and brought up in such influential families never really has to get tensed for money.

Third,Suraj would have definitely thought of his own career or something like that,and even Chakor would have definitely asked him for it

But for thinking about any such life-living necessities,one thing is crucial,and thats STABILITY...and I dont remember,when was the last time Sukor's,especially Suraj's life gas been stable.

Fourth,even if the money used by Suraj,belongs to KN,there is nothing wrong in that

Before,KN and Suraj were jalied by Chakor and Vivaan,KN was more into politics,and it was Suraj who single-handedly used to manage,all issues related with money,whether it was the bonded labour practice,or Rajvanshis cottage industries,land,business or money,legal or illegal.

So even if Suraj has cut ties with his father,and still uses haveli money,the money maybe earned in an unruly or illegal manner,but it has Suraj's wit,sweat and blood in it.

So Suraj is ultimately using money,that has somewhere his own shrew mind and work
