Khans have been given this free holidays period for way too long . With Golmaal Again it has been proved that even guys like Ajay Devgn can give a huge blockbuster in a festival period . Akshay's TEPK & Varun's Judwaa2 collected more than Salman's Eid release Tubelight , Aamir's secret superstar is underperforming on diwali , SRK hasn't given a substantial hit since last four years , still is getting solo Christmas release next year .. Think people like Akshay, Ajay or Ranbir can give hits as big as Khans if they get EDX holidays , Hope with Golmaal 4's success, it is the end of Khans monopoly on holidays.

There is absolutely nothing stopping them from doing so.. Karde apni movie announce.. Ziada se ziada clash hi karna parega.. Karlein..

In my opinion Varun's Shiddat should get EID release and ranveer's temper remake should get christmas release. They have proved they can hit it out of ballpark with proper backing. Diwali is for Akshay - another one who can give hits... 😊

I think SRK is the only one who does not deserve a solo festival release anymore and that is the reason he's not getting them often leading to the poor performance of his films.

Salman if flops with TZH or even TZH failing to cross the 300 mark would be embarrassing.

Aamir is Aamir, let ys wait for TOH, secret superstar isn't a movie where you should judge him. Aamir ain't dimb so he ain't lising his mojo that easily like Srk did.

Amongst other actors yes Akki deserves holidays releases and he is a better actor than srk and salman IMO. But Ranbir doesn't even deserve a place in competition with these people so its insulting to say he deserves to get holidays when he has record disasters in his name and not even a decent solo hit.

Leave alone khans, ajay and hrithik , the expectations are high for someone like varun who's only a few years new to the box office. The rest of them have proven their worth again n again with huge numbers barring akshay kumar. That Canadian guy has used the cheapest card...the patriotism card to lure bhakats and he still hasn't managed to surpass number 20. He's tried coming on Diwali/Christmas/EID/independence and every other major festival but nothing works for him.

He is a b grade superstar and will remain so for the rest of his career,LOL
