Patch up time: Kajol to star in Karan Johar's next?

As per sources, Karan Johar's next will have his all-time favourites, Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol, together again.

For many years, the bond between Kajol and Karan Johar remained as strong as a rock. But their friendship hit a rocky patch after an altercation between Kajol's husband Ajay Devgn and Karan Johar.

The most recent comment that Karan made about Kajol was during an interview with a leading journalist where Karan had said, "It is sad. There is nothing happy about it. I feel sad. I have a great amount of respect and love for her. That will always remain. It will never go away. But sometimes, there is an expiry date to your relationship or your friendship, and we've reached ours. But that doesn't mean it can ever take away from the times we've shared, from the work we've done, for the love we have for each other. And the love I have for her and her family, her mother and her sister."

However this year, on Kajol's birthday, she extended an olive branch to Karan and invited him for her birthday lunch. Kajol also liked' a photo of Karan's children Yash and Roohi, shared by Karan on his social media account. Karan in-turn started following' Kajol giving confirmation to the rumors of their patch-up.

The recent reports suggest that the two have sorted out their differences and have shaken hands over another movie deal. A source told a leading publication, 'Kajol is definitely part of Karan's next venture. He had sworn to himself at the beginning of his career that she would be a part of all his films. That promise was broken in last year's Diwali release, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. But Kajol is back in Karan's life and in his next directorial undertaking.''

According to sources, Karan's next will have his all-time favourites Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol together again after Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham and My Name Is Khan.
