This serial reminds me of another one that used to air in Sony TV, a serial named Mein naa bhoolungi. In that the guy gets married to a middle class girl by telling that he loves her. He even creates some circumstances and saves her and make her fall in love with him. They get married and have a son. Then he murders her by pushing her from a mountain top. Turns out he's already married and made this plan along with his wife to get a child. Now the girl survive and want to take revenge from this guy and get her son back. Another guy also help her. She gets a complete make over and comes back with a new identity. She makes the guy fall in love with her and also turn his wife against him. But the husband-wife duo learn the truth and blackmail her using her son. They all come back to that same mountain top, this time along with their respective families. In the end the girl pushes down the bad guy just like he did to her. Then she starts a new life along with the guy who helped her and her son.
There are few similarities between both the shows. But in that show the guy was clear negative one but here we don't know much about Deep or his reason for saving a psychopath like Tara. Also there he wanted to kill the girl but here he wants to sent her to jail for the murders Tara committed.

P.S: Just made this post seeing that the forum activity is low.

Have not seen the Sony TV show you are mentioning.

But the way Deep is protecting his killer wife Tara...we can term it his Junoon. In today's episode he said that Tara is his first love and she is the only girl he has loved in his life & he can do anything for her.

Yes I remember that show! Never saw it but I recall it clearly. That's a great observation!
