Just finished watching the episode.
I am sure like me, most of you are bamboozled too, given how much expectations we had with today's episode.
Nevertheless, to me the only saving grace of the episode was:
A. No Juhi and her blank face
B. Vidyut's entry in the show
The most confusing elements were:
A. Avni's monologue while walking through the airport
B. Neil's reaction to the letter Avni left for him
One thing that is clear is, Avni and Neil were supposed to leave for their mission Mishti together. In one of the OLVs, Aditi has mentioned that Avni's bags were already packed and hence, she left in her wedding gown itself.
Even in her dream sequence with Neil, when he asks her, Kyun aa gayi yaha? She says, if I would have told u, u would have never let me come alone and take such a big risk!
On one hand , in her monologue in the airport Avni says, It is better this way so that you and Juhi can be together and your daughter too
Tumhari Beti' as she puts it.
While in the beach dream sequence she tells Neil, Juhi ko Tumhari zarurat hai Neil, wo apni bachi ko bhi kho chuki hai.
While I am a lover of mystery and all that I am sorry to say, the CVs have dragged this alleged Neil Juhi ki Love Child thing so much, that I have completely lost interest on whose bachi it is , more so because NEIL KHANNA , the character we once saluted, seems to have reserved himself to a point where he shows no guilt, remorse, or concern for Avni. And as we know, in the coming episodes, his Juhi Jaap will only intensify (as shown in OLVs)
Vidyut's entry was amazing and Karam did an amazing job portraying the volatile Vidyut (I dropped a compliment on his Instagram too about the same 😆 )
His scene with Avni too was impactful.
His hatred for women is always on his lips (as he states it throughout) but he tells Avni, that since she helped him in the flight during his low sugar problem, he will return her the favour. And it was more of a rigid vow.
And I like it.. for a change far better than Neil's cryptic dialogues and love life where the guy simply can't make up his mind as to who he wants in his life.
Now the problem statement:
We web fanatics get a lot of OLVs, articles, etc. to get at least some scoop over the coming storyline but TRP aunties don't. Hence, it is right that they may have no idea that Vidyut is a rapist (if he is indeed one) ..
If CVs don't fix Neil's character asap, then either of these two things will happen:
- TRPs will drop drastically
- People may end up liking Avni more with Vidyut than Neil, because Vidyut is bad , on your face and behind you as well, and let's face it, many out there love the idea of an Anti Hero, whereas, at present Neil is someone who says something and does something else- a hypocrite (saying he loves Avni, but goes off to Juhi to tend to her leaving Avni at the altar)
Avni's mahanta won't make much difference to the TRP ladies because they are used to watching FLs be sacrificing. But to us, it is yet another character assassination, but honestly I don't blame her here, for leaving Neil. If I were her, I would have done that even before dressing up for the remarriage. Yes, it is her participation in the mission Mishti thing that makes me bugged more than ever.
Let the loonies be, Avni! It is not your job to always save people and mend things!
The altar abandoning thing thus doesn't look staged, and neither does Avni taking off alone.
Neil's hypocrisy is once again visible as he promises the family he will get Avni back, saying Uska Neil use wapas laayega.' And next day tells Ali with conviction that he has no interest whatsoever in bringing Avni back since leaving him was her decision.
Neil Khanna.. You are PMSing way too much.
If you don't stop, time ain't far where people may start shipping Avni more with Ali or Vidyut.
So end note is, it is Vidyut who outshone Neil today, in terms of both screen presence and appeal and I wouldn't deny, it is the same case in terms of Karam outshining Zain in the episode today.
I am an admirer of Zain's acting myself, but truth is truth and we must always appreciate the one who truly deserves it.
Today was Vidyut's day, but I hope Neil Khanna , the ACP, the human being, and the lover and husband more than anything, is back to his old form pronto & save the sinking ship called AvNeil.'
