I seriously can't think of anything but Rikara these days -_- I think it's all of ours story 😆
So this was something that I wrote looong ago...after shrenu posted the story that she was listening to Charlie Puth's Attention..the OS is also inspired by the same song. So please please listen to that song before reading it. Or better while reading!
ATTENTION
"Om..what are you doing here? Everyone's waiting for you at the dance floor! Now don't be such a loner and enjoy the night," Ria Omkara's college friend who couldn't stop moving her hips on the loud music grabbed his hand and and tried to pull him to the floor with her.
"Ria..I am not in mood, you guys enjoy yourself," Omkara tried to turn her down politely.
Everyone knew Omkara didn't like dancing. He hated it. But today was the he day of celebration. It was his 10 years college reunion! There was just no way his friends were gonna leave him.
"Please please please Omkara...just for this song! For old times sake please," Ria pouted making a puppy face to which Omkara finally melted.
After all why should he stop living because of her?
"Ok, just for this song,"
The music was loud and lightning blinding. All of Omkara's friends was lost in dancing and drinking and giggling at their jokes. For a moment Omkara almost forgot about her and tried to get himself along with his squad...but it was exactly what she didn't want.
Suddenly Omkara felt very familiar touch of little hands and a familiar floral scent surrounded him.
"Hey," she whispered in his here.
Out of nowhere she was there, in front of him. Smiling like she always did. For a moment Omkara thought he was definitely dreaming about her presence and it was possible as it was the only thing he was doing since last one month.
it a dream..try to touch her and it will vanish
But she didn't. Even when he caressed her rosy cheek. She only smirked.
Soon all the flash backs came to his mind his clam and composed self turned into glaring eyes and snarling nose.
"What are you doing here?," he growled.
She rolled her eyes as he asked the dumbest question ever.
"Dance duh!" She replied.
"Gauri seriously, why can't you leave me alone?" Omkara asked, too tired of her silly games now.
Instead of reply to his question Gauri only smiled, looking at him with all the love in the world.

"You really wanna know why?" She asked.
He only stared at her. She is doing it again. Playing her silly mind games...
She leaned in, bringing her lips close to his ear and whispered.
"Because I love you Omkara," she whispered. Even in the loud noise he could hear her perfectly, like Devine bells in dead silence.
it just another of her game...don't fall for her...
"You don't..you never did..and we both know it," he replied gritting his teeth.
This time Gauri only laughed, a humourless laugh. He wasn't sure if she was laughing at him or herself but it was definitely not a laugh out of happiness.
"C'mon Om! Now don't be a party popper! Come, dance with me," Gauri said in a loud voice as she grabbed Omkara's hand and tried to pull towards but he didn't bulge from his spot.
"Gauri stop this madness! And tell me you have misplaced the Kapoor property papers from my cabin right? Do you have any damn idea how much money we have lost because of that deal? 70 carores!" Omkara couldn't take it anymore and busty at her. He needed answers.
Gauri who seemed least bothered about what Omkara just asked her started checking her nails, showing her lack of interest.
"Always talking about business! Blah! Blah! Blah!" Gauri mimicked Omkara like a child and rolled her eyes.
"C'mon Omkara! Now don't be a buzz kill and dance with me," Gauri snaked her arms around Omkara's neck and and started moving her hips on the rhythm of the music but Omkara immediately pulled her hands off him and pushed her away with one strong shove.
Gauri stammered back but gained her balance and glared at Omkara.
"What is wrong with you? You don't wanna dance? Ok fine! I'll find someone else to dance with! Someone who won't find me an annoying pest," she said rolling her eye and walking away from him like a seductive goddess.
After sometime she was there twirling her body against some guy whose hands were running hungrily across her silk dress. She placed her tiny hands on his shoulder and squeezed them making the guy pull her closer, then looked at Omkara across the guy's shoulder shooting daggers at them.
She smirked as she watched him curling his hands into a tight fist and him turning into the infamous green eyes monster.
She very well knew his weakness..how insanely possessive he was and how though they were not together, he still regarded her as his.
She ran her index finger across the guy's cheek, though her mischievous eyes never leaving Omkara.
Then she placed her hands on his cheeks and Omkara had it enough. He strode towards them like a furious tornado and with one swift move snatch Gauri from that guy's arm.
"Keep your filthy hands away from my girl," he warned the guy and began to drag her out of the dance floor to some isolated corner.
"Slow down! Unlike you someone here is in heels!" Gauri said angrily almost tripping twice. Omkara slowed his pace a little but didn't utter a word.
The next moment Gauri was pinned against a wall with Omkara towering her. She was glaring down at her as he gritted his teeth.
how can something to breath taking be so destructive?
"Why are you doing this all Gauri? Tell me why?" He asked.
"You know why," Gauri said confidently.
Omkara rolled his eyes.
"You never get tired of your silly game do you? What do you need? Money?" He asked as he placed both his hands on bother the sides of her head and leaned closer.
"You think I need money? Well in that case I think you don't know Mr Oberoi but I can buy half of your stocks in a blink..so money is definitely now what I want," she answered.
"Then what Gauri?" He asked as he punched the wall on the side of her head.
the same old anger issues..
"You, I want you," she whispered as she looked at him as if he was the greatest gem of her life.
Omkara let out a homourless chuckle.
"You want me? After a year of filing divorce against me, you want me?" He asked venomously.
"Y-You know why I had to do that," she stuttered, tears brimming as the corner of her eyes.
"You destroyed everything we had Gauri, everything! Our relationship! Our love! Our faith! Everything!" He yelled as his eyes turned red with anger.
Gauri's eyes were pooled by tears now.
"I had to do it! I had to do it for you! For maaji and papa ji! Because if I would have not, Swetlana would have destroyed you all! Why don't you understand?" She cried. Her eyes were puffy and red and cheeks wet.
"All that I understand is that you were the only good thing in my life and then all of sudden my happiness was snatched away from me! And I will always blame you for that!" He growled.
"Now tell me why are you doing all this? You misplaced such important documents of mine, made me loose a crucial deal, then the drama at this party..what are your trying to do Gauri?" He asked.
"Just what you have been doing to me," she whispered.
Omkara furrowed his eyebrows.
"I want to screw with your head just like you have been screwing up with mine..you know there is not even a single second I don't think about you? Not care about you? But all you do is push me away! Blame me and accuse me of all the things that happened without ever thinking what must I be going through! But now it's the payback time! I, you wife, Mrs Omkara Singh Oberoi want every ounce of your attention," she announced bravely.
"You want my attention right? So tonight I am gonna give you my undivided attention," Omkara whispered into her hear. She see his eyes getting dark from desperate desire.
He grinned his hot body against her as he claimed her mouth with his own. Omkara kissed her like there was no tomorrow. He grabbed her by her waist and pulled her closer.
Gauri moaned. She had missed is so much! For almost a year!
She immediately wrapped her hands around his neck and was about to kiss him back with equal passion when he pulled away. And leaned to her ear.
"This was your ultimate plan right?" He asked.
"No..but it's definitely better than what I planned," she replied with smirk.
Omkara only glared quietly at her. He could never keeps his promise to stay away from her. It was almost impossible for him.
"Now continue or I am gonna find someone else-"
"-You won't dare," he cut her off with a dangerous growled as he crashed her mouth onto hers and her hands made his way into her dress.

The next morning Gauri woke up feeling something heavy on her stomach. She slowly opened her eyes. It was someone's arm, firmly holding her naked body. She could feel someone's hot and steady breaths on her neck too. She turned her head only to watch her husband's head on the crock of her neck as he slept peacefully. Last night's passionate encounter flashed back into her mind and she blushed. She slowly moved out of his tight grasp and kissed his forehead Lovingly.
"I hope one day all the distance between us would be covered and I would wake up ever morning like this. I love you," she peck him lightly on his lips and the quietly got up from the bed and made her way to the bathroom.
Omkara who had been awake all this time slowly opened his eyes and sighed.
"I promise you Gauri..I'll cover all the distance between us and bring you back to my life."
