The movie was actually relatable in terms of how relationships work these days. I mean FWB, casual dating and impulsive dating is just so normal nowadays.
I did like the first half of the movie... it was funny and relatable. Didn't like the second half much especially the ending. Yea marrying a guy who you are not sure about and then breaking it up is kinda common but how they showed it was way OTT and ridiculous.
Other then that I liked the movie... Ranveer being a typical FOB in the beginning and then this journey to realising how kinda regressive and opinionated some of his thinking was, was nice to watch.

applying the same logic here, jagga jasoos is under garbage level kind of movie 😊

Jagga gets that ultimate pass of being true blue experimental movie. 😉

Sometime it is lucky for fans that stars experiment. Fans get free pass. Gully boy's experimental status will help you in eventual battle. Befikre unfortunately was real deal rom com. So comparison doesn't work... 😛 😆

not as much as I liked adi's previous three movies but loved vaani 👏.. she has ruined her face but acting-wise she was A1.. I think I am gonna like her in all the characters she would play in future also.
very few actors can get into the skin of the characters they play and she is one of those

It was not that bad of a watch actually...I went in w/ low expectations and had some fun watching it. I also liked RS and VK in it.

Interesting. So we are comparing garbage with slightly less smelly garbage. Nice.

Considering ADHM is a hit and Befikre is not, I guess not many people agree with this opinion. But then cancer track was really hoot... 😆

Befikre unfortunately was complete hoot. Sorry darlings to butt in but enjoy your banter.

The problem I had with ADHM was that, the movie was trying to be an intense love story, but in the end I felt absolutely nothing for any character. It was trying to be more than just a mindless entertainer, and it failed to do so.

Befikre never took itself seriously, which made it enjoyable for me.

Nopes. The movies from the start till the end was OTT. The issue was not even the intimate scenes and dialogues but the acting was horrible and the story was missing.

I agree, the first half was fast-pased and enjoyable. I really liked the funny scenes. The climax was definitely a let down though. It seemed like Adi forgot to direct, and asked the actors to do whatever they want to do.

But I never took the movie seriously to relate with it. The casual dating and one-night stands might be relatable, but the characters were too shallow to make them relatable.

I loved Vaani in SDR, and she was okay in Befikre too. But it was hard to ignore her ruined face, and I could see that she's struggling in giving her expressions because of the surgery.

I liked it. Like everyone else, I had low expectations. I found it really good infact. Especially the first half. The way they fight over the silliest things is so relatable cos I do the same with my bf 🤣 😆 and that scene where Vaani is Ranveer's waitress when he's out on a date was hilarious! 😆 Plus the scene when he goes to buy cornflakes with one flake in a bottle so that he can identify it.. 😆 it was just really cute and fun. And ofcourse, the dance in the end was so good. Ranveer and Vaani danced very, very well. 👏
