I was avoiding this movie because of bad reviews, despite my liking for Vaani. But yesterday I watched Befikre on Set Max, and I actually liked it.😕 I don't like Ranveer either, but he was also pretty good in the movie. Probably because he was playing himself.😆 I'll prefer RS in these type of roles instead of playing Bajirao and Khilji.
Vaani was though struggling with her face, but she was fine.

I don't understand why this movie is thrashed so much. It's a good rom-com. Yeah, it doesn't has much of a story, but when did people started looking for story in movies??...especially in this type of genre. It's a good movie IMO,"leave your brains" type of flick. I actually enjoyed watching a brainless entertaining movie after so long.

Does anyone else liked this movie too?? Any non-RS fan?? I want to know this because, liking this movie is not considered normal by people.😆

Me and my friends liked it but we didn't like the ending part. It was just too much.

I cannot say I liked it but it was not worst level either. It had a few moments where I chuckled. There have been so many similar themed modern relationship movies in Bollywood recently and Befikre & Shuddh Desi Romance would be the ones which were slightly watchable and made the highest money from the worst movies basket which includes Katti Batti, JHMS and few others. Salam Namste seems like a gem in comparison to these.

I was against the film but I guess I was lil harsh and was pretty upset Adi got Ranveer to do this after a film like Bajirao..
It had its funny moments and was ok. I think had Adi chopra made a better trailer it wouldve gotten better results. The trailer was shocking esp for a movie from the man who gave DDLJ.

Vani was good and she is such a fab dancer Ranveer was good too, Loved certain portions esp the bit where he apologizes to shayra and the initial bits.. the ending could have been better.

Recently watched Raabta and seeing SSR doing similar stuff I wanted to go hug RS he was good , SSR was unbearable.

Yeah, I agree the ending could have been better. I think the main problem audience had that the movie had very less serious and intense moments(which is a trademark of Aditya Chopra movie). But people forget that this movie didn't star SRK but Ranveer.

I'll say Befikre is a better movie than Mohabbatein, which was a piece of shit.

I may be a considerable RS fan. (Actually I am no one's fan). Similar experience. I trashed the movie looking at the trailer and never tried to watch.

When I happened to watch it, I thought it was not as bad as I imagined. But Adi tried to emphasise the parts which was unnecessary and forgot to emphasise the scenes which were necessary.

The movie starts as a flashback when the lead couple have opted to go single. Before this, they have lived in for an year. It hardly mattered to the movie whether they met through one night stand or a friendship gradually turned into relation. What mattered (in the flashback) was the bitter sweet moments they spent, when they were in that relation. But Adi went tangential and focussed more on their first encounter, which was totally irrelevant. He made the trailer also based on that ONS, which put off most of his audience.

Also lack of intense scenes in a movie which is supposed to be a romantic. There was no strength in the scene before the song Je T'aime. Even the picturisation of this song was comical. To top it, Vani's face. Most intense moment became the most torturing time and they ruined a beautiful song. (I am upset, Adi is going to cast her again with HR. I can't bear to see her face, however good dancer she is).

I liked that they were just hooking up and having fun
But then it was too predictable
And totally like friends with benefits
I liked it in the way that I wouldn't mind watching it 7-8 years later
But it isn't anything special
From an Aditya directorial you expect a lot more than a cliche story
Also I watched the movie with really low expectations haha so I ended up liking it lol
