THERE is a battle brewing in the fashion world. Between leading designers and sponsors, no less. Our grapevine has it that this starstruck entrepreneur who has been sponsoring a leading Bollywood designer's shows has been left feeling rather wounded after the designer took the moolah to stage grand shows in Mumbai and Dubai, but completely forgot to mention his sponsor. While we are on the said designer, the Sindhi NRI bush wire can't stop chattering about how he turned a personal invitation to a wedding into a little after-party sale for his designer sarees and clothes. Tch! Bad form. And then there are tales from Paris about this other designer and bad form, but we will keep them for another day.
