No comment on the actors, but just curious as to how anyone can find actions motivated by hatred, remotely romantic or sensuous.
Given the fact that audiences were aware that Omkara was acting under a disturbing and inappropriate misconception about his wife, I would think that people would be apprehensive and downright too disgusted knowing what was about to come.
I personally did not enjoy the scene, because I was too terrified for what Omkara was going to do to Gauri. The man was awful. He led her on, gave her false hope and ripped it all out from under her in one fell swoop.
It's like giving a child a lolly, and after one lick, snatching it away and crushing it under your foot.
It was absolutely cruel.
The only thing spectacular about the RiKara scene was the aftermath. My heart went out to her when she stood up for herself. Shrenu was wonderful in that scene.
I still think that they are incompatible, personality wise, but my respect for Gauri has definitely increased since the RiKara confrontation.
