An episode dedicated to sons and fathers

So one of the overreaching themes of Rishton Ka Chakravyuh is perhaps the relationship between mother and her children or father and his children. For the past two episodes, we see a conflict between father and his sons getting deeper. Baldev, Oh Baldev, How insecure were you growing up?? I though his insecurities came post his debauchery with Sudha which resulted in him grudgingly becoming a father to Narottam. But no, it is quite possible that Vikram has always put outsiders above his own son and perhaps the reasons for doing so had a solid base. Everybody including outside media hails Dheeru as the guy who was the guy who helped build Royal Steel as it along with Vikram. Despite leaving a post in such unceremoniously and mired in allegations, if people still give him credit that speaks highly for his qualifications and credibility. It is also pretty clear that Vikram still trusts Dheeru more than his own son. So, Baldev's strategy has become, either I win or nobody does. Well, its clear that he won't.
Now, Adhiraj always thought that his father has run away from this game of power and money. Turns out, he was wrong. He was working his way into the war through back channels and in a shady way. Well, they say careful what you wish for. He wanted his father in the playing field, he got his wish but he isn't sure if his father is what he though he was. That slap was well earned. Adhiraj takes things bit too far just like Anami at times. And I am sorry, Ankit has a long way to go to match steps along with Mahima, Narayani and the rest. His acting was extremely poor in that scene where he got slapped till he started talking with Anami. I also didn't quite like the way he called a Anami and said, "Either I talk to you or I talk to an alcohol bottle"...the point was to show his growing connection with Anami but still that was weird. I liked their conversation afterwards but had wished the buildup was different.
Precap: Not a fan of this newly irritating Anami, the girl needs a tight slap from her Pagli Panditayn.

I should agree to disagree as I feel Ankit's scenes were very good, with no over acting,as it should be in this character. As for the sharab bottle...can't you see it was just a round about way of saying that he needed Anami.I have many friends and family members who are like Adhiraj and so I can connect with his character and response very well.He is a CBI officer and people in such posts are trained to restrain themselves from wearing their heart on their sleeves. The selection process to such a job is such that people who are guarded only will be in the rolls. All display of emotion will be subject to a restraint.Adhiraj has done his job well.

Amazing analysis. There are strained relationships between fathers and sons mother and daughter. There are indulgent parents and estranged parents and single parents.
After Sudhas parenting 101 with the hawk and sparrow, we understand she is on a mission to prop up Narotham as a hawk.

The lessons on Pandithayan acts as an anchor and stabilises Anami, the references to their mother by Tanya make us believe she played a shaping influence too.

Pujan uses his son and seems morally bereft. Baldev is seething in anger at the discrimination he has faced and is estranging himself further from others .

Gayathri Anami bond seems to be strong. The matriarch steamed of twins. A baby girl in their clan which is why she is able to fondly reach out to Anami and each of them reassures and has a way with the other.
