Okay, I don't get one thing..
Why did Harneet write that Gauri 'FINALLY' stood up for herself? And 'FINALLY' realized that she is not lesser than anyone?
Anyone who has seen DBO properly would know that Gauri has ALWAYS considered herself as good as everyone. Even in IB, Gauri was never intimidated by Ragini who tried to insult her small town origins by calling her a villager.
Guys, I really don't think Harneet has much to do with Gauri, except the English track which sort of butchered her character, 'cos the DBO Gauri would not learn English to be 'good enough' for anyone.
That said, whoever is the writer for Rikara wrote a brilliant, probably their best since DBO Finale, scene in the last two episodes.

And I don't get the comparison between Anika and Gauri. Both are unique and different and have taken a stand in their life when called for it. Both have justified their stands in their own ways. And both have maintained their self-respect in silence as well as in action. I watched IB since the beginning and DBO as well, Anika and Gauri have faced different circumstances which have made respond in different ways to the situation. They are both amazing.
