Ishita signed the papers and crushed on the floor crying bitterly, she wasn't understanding what is going on but one thing she knows well that she will die if anything happened to raman. So she was just praying for raman's well being while nurse, doctors and compounders were just going here and there trying to get things done asap.
After some time she got up and walked to the doctor incharge.
Ishita -doc, can I see him.
Doctor nodded and told her to go inside. She entered the room and saw many machines attached to him. She heart bleed seeing him in this condition. She went to him and sat next to the bed. She took his hand in hers and said -aisa kyun kar rahe hai raman, yeh jaante hue that I can't live without u, why u r doing this to urself and me. Please thik ho jaiye, mere liye, romi -simmi ke liye, mihir ke liye, hum sabke liye, Raman please thik ho jaiye ,apni jaan ke liye.main aapse kabhi naraaz nahi houngi, sach, I will always love u more and more and more. But please be fine, u know naa I love u the most, Main mar jaaungi aapke bina. Please thik ho jaiye. She said and kissed his hand numerous time. Then she got up and showered his face with numerous kisses and finally cried hugging him tight.
Ishita -please thik ho jaiye raman. She said and cried bitterly.
She was hugging him tight when the compounders came and said -maam, we have to take sir for operation.
Ishita look at the compounders, they pleaded to move ahead of him. She cupped his face and kissed his temple for a little longer and them said -please sahi salamat wapas aaiyega raman. Warna aapke saath saath main bhi nahi bachungi.she said and kissed him again.
Componders came forward and was taking him when she said -please take card of him, u guys r taking away my life.
They just nodded and took raman to OT while ishita just crushed on the floor crying. She was crying uncontrollably as everything was going out of control. She cried, cried, cried for long and when she got tired of crying she went to the reception and called her parent again but they couldn't talk as they were in plane. Then ishita called romi's number but no-one picked it. Then she tried simmi's number and luckily a girl picked the phone. Ishita told her everything about raman's health and requested her to inform this to romi and simmi. The girl promised to try her best to send this information to them. Ishita thanked her and hung the call. Then she tried mihir's number and luckily he too picked the call. Ishita cried hearing his voice and told him everything about raman and requested him to come soon.
Mihir got worried and told her that he is taking the next flight and will be with her as soon as possible. After informing everyone she sat on the couch waiting for some information about raman.
Soon she saw doctors coming out of OT, ishita got scared seeing them all out and ran to them.
Ishita -what happened, why u people r not operating him.
Doc-his bp is high, we have to wait till it slow,we have given him injection, let's see how much time it will take to decrease his bp.
Ishita -but his condition is critical naa, operation should be done asap.
Doc -but we can't operate when his bp is high, how can u talk such rubbish, u r also a doctor.
Ishita -no I am not, at this time, I am just a wife, who wants her husband all fine. Please try to operate, delay can cause damage to his brain nerves.
Doc -but rushing the things will also make the situation worse, u please be patient, everything will be fine.
Ishita -no I can't be patient, my life,my husband is inside, hanging between life and death, how can I relax. Please do something doc.
Doc -i understand ur situation but panicking will not do anything favourable, just calm down. We r doing what we can do best.
Ishita folded her hand and said -please save him, he is my everything. She said with moist eyes.
Doc hold her hand and said -we r trying and went inside.
The time was passing and after four hours the operation started. The operation was also long one. Ishita was waiting for some positive response but all she was getting was long wait. She was sitting alone trying hard to control her tears but they were still flowing. She was tired and want someone to pour her pain but sadly she have none. She was sitting looking at nowhere when she heard -ishu.
Ishita look at the direction and saw amma appa coming running to her. She smiled in between her tears seeing her parent. She got up from her place and ran to them and with in seconds she start crying bitterly hugging her parent tight.
Ishita -amma appa, Raman, woh woh, operation theatre mein, bacha lijiye, Main mar jaaungi unke bina. She was saying in between her hiccups.
Appa amma looked at each other and then took ishita in a bone crushing hug and amma said-dont cry kanna, Raman ko kuch nahi hoga. He will be fine soon.
Appa -haan kanna, have faith in Murugan, he will keep ur raman fine. He is not that cruel to snatch ur husband. He said and both made ishita sit on the couch.
Ishita was crying continuously so amma made her sit keeping her head on Appa's chest while amma was continuously caressing her hair consoling her.
Ishita -achcha hua aap log aa gaye. I was so alone. She said and closed her eyes and within no time she slept as she was wide awake since long.
Amma look at appa and said with moist eyes -yeh kya ho raha hai vishwa hamari kanna ke saath.
Appa -now why u r worried ,tum ho toh chahti thi naa ki ishita raman se dur ho jaaye ,apni beti ki khushi bardasht nahi hoti thi naa tumhe. Ab toh tum khush ho naa. Apni bachchi ko aise rote, tadapte dekh kar.
Amma cried and said -why u r saying so, I never wanted Raman to die. I just want my ishu's happiness. Aur agar ishu ko khushi raman hai toh I just want him alright. I can't see my baby dying for him. Kuch karo vishwa, Raman ko thik kar do.
Appa -nothing is in our hands madhu, all we can do is that we can pray for him. Bas pray karo sachche mann se ki raman bach jaaye, warna, he was saying when amma said -koi warna nahi, Murugan has to save my ishu's husband. She said determined and both start praying for raman's well being.
Appa make ishita sleep comfortably in her mother's lap and went to check what's going on, he thought to pay the bill as ishita is not in a condition to do all this but got to know that raman is the trustee of the hospital. He asked about his family and got to know that he has two siblings. He was thinking where they were but then thought it's not the time to think about them but to think about ishita and raman.
He went back to ishita and madhu and settled down beside them praying for Ishra.
Few hours passed and mihir came inside running looking for ishita. He asked the receptionist about raman and went to OT, he saw ishita laying on the couch with an elderly couple. He went to them and said -namaste, Main mihir. Bhai kaise hai.
Appa -operation is going on.
Mihir -aap bhabhi ke,
Appa -parent hai, she called us.
Mihir -glad u came, bhabhi was so alone. I was out of town and romi-simmi bhi holidays par gaye hai. Aur yeh sab ho gaya. Glad u could came.he was saying when romi simmi too entered the hospital and came running to them. Simmi was crying uncontrollably while romi was just trying to console her.
Romi -mihir bhai, bhai kaise hai, aur bhabhi maa.
Appa -aap dono??
Romi -I Am romi and she is simmi. Bhabhi maa ko kya hua, he asked in a scared voice.
Appa -she slept out of exhaustion.
Romi -she is OK naa, bhabhi maa. He called her and ishita opened her eyes in jiffy and shouted -raman.
Appa hold her while she looked at him and asked -ramn kahan hai,operation nahi hua ab tak. Raman kab thik honge. She said panicking only to hear, bhabhi maa.
Ishita looked at romi and simmi, they were crying. Ishita got up and hugged them tight.
Simmi -bhabhi maa, bhai ko kuch nahi hoga naa.
Ishita nodded in no and said -hum kuch hone hi nahi denge, we will not let anyone snatch him from us. Hum unhe zor se pakad kar rakhenge taaki woh Kahin naa jaa paaye. She said crying all cried hearing this while simmi -romi hugged ishita tight.
After sometime, all got settled on couch waiting for the operation to be over.
Finally after an hour, the operation got over, doctors came out and all ran to them.
Ishita -how is he?? She asked in a scared voice.
Doc-he is fine, the operation is successful. We have removed his clot, now he will be fine always. He said making everyone sighed in relief.
Ishita -can I see him once.
Doc -wait till we shift him to the cabin, then u all can see him but one by one and only one person can stay with him. And as Mrs bhalla is doctor herself, I will suggest her to stay with raman. He said and went to his cabin while all hugged each other in happiness.
