Chalo Ji aaj ka episode ho Gaya khatam

All loops closed, all guilty punished, Chandu exonerated

Miku found

Advays family honour reinstated by the very pandits who had denounced them

and now he can be Mahant Advay if he so chooses to be!

All at jet speed again

So Indrani is in Mumbai jail

And Chandni once again speeded to Allahabad

Did her full detectivegiri, found Miku

Sent him to Raizada house

All in the remaining part of the day!

Advay got the justice he was wanting

An apology from Yash Narain

Real culprits in the prison

Reunion with Miku

Repentance from the priests

Of course Indrani was still arrogant and unrepentant

Rassi jal gayi par bal nahi Gaya !!!

Logic was also missing poora ka poora

But Kya karain, loops had to be closed so logic gaya bhaad main

The confession from Meghu was badly done and I was very disappointed at the way

They made it sound as if Meghu had done something sinful to have the child out of wedlock

And did not build a context or a backstory to the circumstances that led to it

Of course I must also appreciate the CVs for nayi soch in the way Pooja handled

her husband deserting her, she refused to play the victim and to be happy with her son and

To make sure that he never feels the loss of a parent and to tell him the truth frankly

Good work CVs - once again, do we have 2 teams working on this show?

The conflict in treatment of Meghnas story and Pooja's story was so much

Aur haan, Advay aka Dev accepted his pyaar for Chandu

Clearly strongly and completely !

that was nice to see.

Leela masi too hopefully would now temper down !

So all done, fatafat

Now I hope tomorrow the episode doesn't rush like this

And let the lovers enjoy some beautiful moments together

Of course there's still one mystery that remains unsolved

The scenes i liked are

IndVay face off
Advay getting back his Mahant rights
Priests apologizing to him
AdVeer hug and Veer saying about Chandni
Advay Yash hospital scene
Advay frantically searching for Chandni
Advay telling Maasi he loves Chandni
Adi Pooja scene

Barun was phenomenal that goes without saying

So we got loops closed, unexpected loops like Pooja's story too. Leela Maasi needs to sit in a corner and examine why she hates Chandini exactly. They finally butchered her character too.

1. Nani. Where is she ? She was the guiding force behind the family, not a very mature or dignified force, but she was the one Advay most related to. She was Chandini's strongest support, so why isn't she here especially when Miku finally came home.

2. The baby thing. When LM said Chandini did a mistake even as a young girl I wondered what. When she said the baby I wanted to slap her, so what if Chandini had a child. Now that it is proven that Chandini is a Virgin with a capital V she is acceptable ? What about Meghna then ? She is the daag ? But Moonlight is pure so acceptable. Advay too fell in my eyes because of this. This is soch from the dark ages.

3. Adi. On the other hand I like how they handled his yearning for a dad. They did not make Advay a substitute dad, but Pooja said she is mom and dad to him. This is nayi soch.

4.Advay is a Mahant. No comments on that. I would have loved it if he had given a speech about how superstition killed his parents. Indrani used superstition to further her greed and it would have failed if people did not believe in it.

5. Nice that Yash Narayan briefly remembered to ask Advay for forgiveness.

6. Scene with Indrani and Advay. Short but powerful, evenly matched.

Final notes about the serial.

1. Had great potential, excellent actors in supporting cast mostly, but failed because of bad execution. Gul Khan take responsibility.

2. Costumes are a very important part of understanding a character. A Mahant family from small town Allahabad does not dress like a designer business family in Delhi. For that matter no one dresses like that.

3. Barun - Still not a fan, but hats off for sincerity and utter professionalism even in badly written scenes. Now go forth to BW. Forget TV or web. Wait for a good BW script. Few people get an entry like THMS, forget MAMR and wait for a good BW script. Stay far, far away from Gul.

4. Shivani. I like her as a person very much, her poise, dignity and hard work in the face of negativity. But as an actress she is good in some scenes, but bad overall. Her dialog delivery especially as she cries is very bad. Her scene with Indrani was so bad yesterday. When I compare her to the teen actress Mahima of RKC who is pretty much shouldering the whole show and wears strange clothes but has excellent acting, Shivani does not get a pass from me. She needs to improve big time and form a connection with an audience. Shivani is easy to like, Chandini though even today I do not like and I just cannot use bad writing or characterization as an excuse.

I think the PH gave up on costume change so we have to understand that the whole process was spread out over a few days even when the characters are wearing the same costumes. That is what happens when the PH has the material left for 8 months and they need to show that it 5 episodes straight. So yes all this process has happened over few days but the characters didn't have any costume changes.

I am gobsmacked - this good of a story and the channel, PH and the writers couldn't save. Many TV shows don't have any story whatsoever and they survive on wafer thin plot and when these people have a jackpot in their hands they mess up this royally. Idiots kahi ke.

Part of me is really glad that even though it is rushed they are showing the whole intended story because it is quite clear the decision to pull off air is sudden and they did have decent (powerful) enough story to tell. And I am glad that Barun did do this show because it is quite clear that the story that was told to him was different and he did shine brilliantly in the shitty script too. I won't be surprised if IPK3 is the show that will end with a higher TRP than it started out with because this week's story is what the audience were waiting to see.

The joy of THMS reviews is what is making me feel happy and not sad over IPK3 ending. Barun is getting awesome reviews and hopefully this will mean some good chances for him in BW. If THMS paves way for him to get some good roles in BW then I personally am going to say thanks to Harneet and the bashers and the whole negativity people for sparing Barun from Shivani Sharali's costumes and giving him mukti from IPK bhoot. I hope it is time to move on to bigger and better things.

IPK3 will forever remain a show that could have been a great one if people just knew how to write and present it.
