Before entering the Bigg Boss 11 house,
popular television actor Hiten Tejwani
shared how he was preparing for the
show, his wife Gauri Pradhan's reaction and
his expectations from it.
What prompted you to participate in Bigg
Boss 11? You seem to be the most unlikely
candidate given the format of the show?
Everyone is surprised by my decision. Their
reaction is like, Hiten you! No, it must be a
rumour'. But, yes, I am joining the show.
The reason is that I want to experience it.
This format appeals to so many people. It
shows the real you and you get to meet so
many people.
What was your wife Gauri's reaction to
your decision? Was it tough for you to take
the final call?
Gauri was surprised and a little worried
that how will I stay without them for so
long. But she said, if you go in, then you
better win.' Some decisions are tough but
you have to take them. This decision was
tough for me but I am sure I will be
absolutely fine in the house.
You have a very calm personality. Do you
think that will work inside the house?
There isn't much that I can say right now as
I don't know how it will be inside. All I can
say is that let's hope for the best.
Your work has got you immense popularity
as an actor. Will this help you stay inside
the house for a longer time?
I have immense support and love of fans
from all over the world. I am sure that they
will definitely support me now too.
What are the things you are carrying with
yourself? What kind of wardrobe will we
be seeing you sporting inside the house?
Any lucky charm you are carrying with you,
which you want to share.
I am carrying a lot of clothes, basically a mix
of formal and casual wear. I will try to
experiment with my looks when I am in the
house. As for a lucky charm, I am not
carrying anything particular.
Have you ever followed any season of Bigg
Boss before? Any particular participant
whom you liked and why?
I haven't watched it entirely. I have seen
bits and parts of a couple of seasons.
How will you define Salman Khan as the
host of BB?
I think he is the perfect host. He's funny,
sometimes strict, lenient and appreciative. I
mean, he is just perfect for the show.
How will you handle the stress inside the
house any strategy or game plan you have
planned?
I haven't planned anything as of now. As I
said, I don't know how it will be inside the
house. I will face everything as and when.
Which was your last fiction show?
Gangaa was my last fiction show. I am on
the lookout for something interesting and
worthwhile in the fiction space as well.
You have a very clean happy-go-lucky
person kind of image. Comment
I am happy to have that image and all I can
say is that I am going to stick to it.
What can your fans expect from you in the
Bigg Boss House?
I will call white, white and black, black.
Whatever is right is right and whatever is
wrong; I'll definitely voice it out.

I don't think there's anything about me that
my fans don't know. People know
everything about me and I like it that way.
What changes do you find in the industry
over the years?
I think people are appreciating the good
and real content. Gone are the days when
shows used to run for 8 or 9 years. If the
show is really good, it will go on, otherwise,
it will go off air.
What do you have to say about the kind of
content being made on television?
Everyone has the right to experiment and
try and give the audience something nice to
watch. When they do this, there are some
experiments which work wonders with the
audience and then there are those which
don't.
What is the philosophy of your life?
My philosophy of life is simple. Always be
happy and make others happy.
