Plot :

Four Delhi girls come together for the wedding of one of them.

Kalindi (Kareena Kapoor) a commitment phobe is set to marry longtime boyfriend, Rishab (Sumeet Vyas), Avni (Sonam Kapoor) who desperately want to get married, Sakshi (Swara Bhaskar) whose marriage to an NRI is on the rocks and Meera (Shikha Talsania) a young mother who had eloped to marry her foreign boyfriend.

The movie will explore the spirit of new age Indian women and deal with femnism. The action will mostly take place in Delhi and Phuket.

Sonam Kapoor gets Abu-Sandeep couture

The designers get back to Bollywood after 15 years with Veere Di Wedding

When you have fashionistas like Sonam, Rhea and Kareena in one movie, then top designers will run to them like a moth to a flame. The Kapoor sisters, Rhea and Sonam, have managed to get designer duo -Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla, on board, to design for their film "Veere Di Wedding (VID). The designers will be planning the costumes for a film after 15 years, the last time theydid the costumes for a film was Devdas, for which they won the National Award for Best Costume Design.

"We are looking forward to VID. It's an exciting project as we are dressing all the girls in the movie. We haven't work on a film since Devdas as couture is where we belong and we have been busy with growing our brands "abujanisandeepkhosla and recently "Asal. When Rhea approached us, it was a yes, without even thinking, as we love that she has changed the entire celebrity styling scene in India, says the duo

The designers will be working on all the Indian clothes in the film, customizing the outfits for the ensemble star cast, infusing their signature Indian craftsmanship and textile heritage with European tailored silhouettes. While not much is known at this juncture, sources reveal that Abu- Sandeep will be opening up their design archives from years ago and digging out looks for the film.

It will be a fun and vibrant Delhi for Veere Di Wedding'!

Anticipation for Veerey Di Wedding' is really high as it marks the comeback of gorgeous Kareena Kapoor Khan to films post pregnancy. The preparations have already begun and the stars are expected to start shooting really soon. Here we have got some update on the shooting schedule of the film.

The makers of Veerey Di Wedding' have decided to shoot major portions of this film in Delhi. Rhea Kapoor, who is producing this film has said, "Really excited to start shooting... the film will be going on floors soon and Delhi is a key location. The food, the fashion and everything it has to offer in terms of the lifestyle sector.

Apart from Kareena, we will see Sonam Kapoor and Swara Bhasker too, in this film. Reports suggest that the team of Veerey Di Wedding' had visited Delhi to do the recce and find the most fun and vibrant locations in Delhi for this film.

Talking about the preparations, Kareena has been sweating it out to lose her post-pregnancy weight. She has been following a strict regime for the same. Meanwhile, reports also had it that Swara Bhasker will be losing around 10 kilos for this film. Stars are indeed putting their heart and soul in this film and we just hope the outcome of this is great.

Veerey Di Wedding' is a chic-flick with three beautiful ladies in the lead. It is being directed by Shashanka Ghosh. It is reportedly a remake of Hollywood movie Sisterhood Of The Travelling Pants', however there is no official confirmation of the same.

They began shooting on september 1st. That's not what I'd call taking forever...

They were supposed to start a year ago but Kareena got pregnant and couldn't get insurance to work while pregnant.

Also, Kareena and Swara went on a diet to fit their character.
