Apart from Varun Dhawan "Judwaa 2" also stars Taapsee Pannu and Jacqueline Fernandez in the lead role.

Earlier it was reported that the film has collected around 21.50 crores on Monday. Now, the current reports suggests that the extended weekend with Gandhi Jayanti on October 2, has helped the film rake in good amount and now the film has a total collection of 80.75 crores (approx).

After Badrinath Ki Dulhania, Judwaa 2 is said to be the second highest film of Dhawan in 2017.

According to the sources, since his first film Varun has given back to back hits, he has been thinking of making a raise in his fees. Apparently, the film has created a lot of buzz for Varun and the actor has thought to raise his fees for his upcoming films.

Dhawan is also touted to be the next superstar after the three Khans. The sources also add that the actor has already charged a whooping amount for his next film Sui-Dhaga opposite Anushka Sharma.

The film will be directed by Sharat Katarya and Produced by Maneesh Sharma under the banner of Yash Raj Films. The film will be made on 'Made In India' campaign and is said to go on floors in January next year and will hit the screens on October 2, 2018.
