World changes in matter of minutes, seconds. Life never stops. Yet for fifteen days his had. The promise of a new and happy life was lost in seconds. For fifteen days he had thought of every action, plan, move he could make to protect his family. But none seemed worthwhile. He couldn't wrap his mind around it. And all along his heart was constantly remembering her. It's every beat reminded him that the reason of his being was miles away waiting for him.
It was that thought that made him jump into action. She was waiting for him. He had to go to her. Anything else was unacceptable. With a stupidly reckless plan in action he went home, even though he knew that his actions would hurt her. It still made his heart weep seeing tears well in her eyes when he introduced someone else as his wife. Steeling his heart he went through the motions the entire day.
But as night came his resolve weakened. Seeing his wife so sad he questioned the wisdom of his plan. Was it really worth it ?
The question was answered when he spied her hugging his picture and silently crying at the poolside. This was so unlike the woman who had fought to bring back his memory the entire day. Seeing her in this state served as a reality check.
He couldn't do this to her. Not after everything that they had been through. She deserved better. He had to honour the promises he had made to her.
With that vow he silently moved to her and wiped away her tears, hugging her he expressed his remorse at his actions. In the quiet of the night he told her about everything that plagued him for days and everything that had kept him away from her.
