Is Barun Sobti and Surbhi's career doomed because of Gul?

Both of these actors doesn't seem to do anything without Gul's help and Gul helped them to keep their career stable but at the same time, she seemed to harm their career as well, Surbhi seems to be almost jobless after Qubool Hai although Gul produced some web-series for her and Barun's acting career seems to be over because of Gul.

Nile is not the only river in Egypt. Similarly, Gul is not the only one who can make or break people's careers. There's many producers, she's not the only one. If it's in their luck they will do good in their career. They should work hard, that's all.

Gul is an arrogant woman but, it is not her fault entirely.

Yaar the problem is a TV actor's career has limited mileage. They can't be stars like BW actors 'cause TV does not allow for that.

It's rare for TV superstars to get more than one superhit show 'cause a show's popularity is not just dependent on them. Nobody will watch a daily show for a 'superstar'. People will stop watching if they don't like it, unlike a 3 ghante ki movie.

^ plus, tv is woman oriented unlike movies.

People need to realize that tv world is really competitive and it is so hard getting shows...I think most channels these days prefer newer actors who would charge less.But I have been missing SJ since 3-4 days...she is a good actress...I would like it if she gets something good soon.

also to be fair,SJ's show with gul did well...it was her show without gul that flopped😆

Yes and people want fresh faces unlike movies where star power does count. Most TV protagonists are in the 18-35 age range. Every story starts with an 18-25 year old girl. So, you can't have the same faces playing these characters in a show that airs daily.

I actually feel bad for TV actors at times 'cause they are ghar ki murgi daal barabar when compared to BW actors despite there not being a huge gulf in terms of talents or looks (since it matters).

TV actors know this too which is why they always try to transition to movies.

I find tv better cos tv celebs work so hard. Every day they shoot for episodes and have to be entertaining in every one. Whereas in movies the celebs only are there onscreen for few hours and then it's done they're judged based on that. Tv celebs work like hell imo and don't really get any respect on this forum and only bollywood celebs are praised which isn't right.
