Through his poem, through his writings Vatsalya proved that all though he was just 17 year old, and even when he pretended to not know anything about LM politics, he did know what was going on.
Vatsalya somewhere did felt that there was someone missing in his life- Anami.
Vatsalya did know that his mother was as good as a living corpse in this house and the only relief which she had was Vatsalya himself.
Vatsalya knew that his father felt bad about not being the heir and wanted Vatsalya to become the heir.
Vatsalya knew that her dadi felt empty for whatever had happened.
Vatsalya was so damn mature that even when he knew of Pujan's cruelties (the bird incident) he could sympathize with the man, he did realised that he was a cheetah baby among elephants, an outsider whose self-respect was harmed.
Vatsalya was so deep and mature that he knew of Narottam's pain and not what people thought his pain was. For LM his pain is his punishment, for Anami his pain is his cause of weakness and also consequence of his weakness, but Vatsalya saw right through it, Narottam's pain was his mother, who was bringing him up. This is the actual pain of Narrotam's life.
And lastly when Anami said that he was even more intelligent than her, I absolutely agreed.
And Anami even proved it with her arrogance.
But thanks to Vatsalya's dairy now Anami would question Narottam about his little detour in the night and also about his real face. Although not very hopeful because I know that Narottam would be able to cover it up.
But then again I would have to give it to Vatsalya, he did realised that there was something more to Narottam than it meets the eyes, he just did not had the courage to ask Narrotam about it.
