Oh I feel better now as they stopped wasting the time and screen space by not unnecessarily bringing Vishnu and Lakshmi into everything . I don't like how Mata Lakshmi is being shown as a sidekick of Parvati . Goddess Lakshmi is one of the tridevis and she too is a Maha Shakti . Like Mata Parvati , Mata Lakshmi too is called Jagat Janani . So she has other duties as Goddess instead of simply roaming with Parvati .
Everytime when they show LakshmiNarayn as sidekicks of Shiv-Parvati in both DKDM and Mahakali I just start yelling like , "Just leave them alone for God's sake . Why unnecessarily involving them in Shiv-Parvati drama ??? "

We don't see Shiv-Parvati often visiting vaikunt to gossip with LakshmiNarayan !!! 😆

That's very true!

Usually, I'm not bothered by canonical deviations or modified characterizations -- Vishnu asking Shiva about Mahakali, for example, allows us as the audience to learn by proxy. However, it really is strange to watch Vishnu and Lakshmi repeatedly visit Kailash, as if they're Devatas like Indra or Agni. You also hit the nail on the head describing Lakshmi as a Maha Shakti; she might be the goddess of prosperity and wealth, but she's just as much a part of Adi Shakti as Parvati is. Saraswati, too, but she's unfortunately underutilized comparatively.

Both times Saraswati and Lakshmi manifested as Brahmani and Vaishnavi, I hoped for even the smallest story of their respective canon. Their inclusion in the Sapta/Ashta Matrikas was hinted at, but I really would like more.

As for Vishnu -- I've always considered television to be saturated with mythological serials about Vishnu and Shiva. Ironically, this is the one time I want more Vishnu! When he appeared before Tarakasur, resplendent and multi-armed, it was beautiful. I would love to see the Ramayana but with an emphasis on Shakti. Granted, it would be similar to Siya Ke Ram, but it could fill in the pieces SKR missed (namely, they never again addressed Sita becoming Bhadrakali). But I digress.

Maybe we'll see Lakshmi and Saraswati help fight Mahishasura, or the other demons sure to come. Or, at least we can hope!

I really like this light hearted episode about Matsya Parvati and Shiv human avatar
But kinda feel Pooja appearance as villager looks a bit too glamor
😉, especially her hairdo

And her additional makeup with black color on forehead and upper arm is similar to daruka
( they usually put black makeup for asura, right ? )

Her makeup as Parvati and 9 navdurga in colorful outfit is still the best so far IMO

Wow ! Good to see a soul who understands my emotions !!!

Brahma and Vishnu are not some devas .

All Shiva-Vishnu-Brahma are Mahadevas and Parvati-Lakshmi-Saraswati are Mahadevis .

Once when I went to a Lord Narasimha temple , I noticed when the temple priest was doing pooja to the Narasimha idol and singing hymns and slokas he mentioned him as Devadi Dev Mahadev .

So yes all Shiva, Brahma and Vishnu are Lords of the demi gods ( devas )

And just like Parvati , Mata Lakshmi too has the fierce Kali and Durga energy in her but she won't use her destructive powers unnecessarily as she's very much centred, well balanced and stable like Lord Vishnu .

So it was absolutely a nonsensical thing to show Mata Lakshmi as some ordinary Devi and running scared from asurs 🤢

Also in DKDM when they showed Ramayan they had made it all about Shiva . It was shown like Shiva making Vishnu to take Ram avatar and Shiva instructing, ordering and teaching Lord Ram which made Guru Vasishta totally useless in the story . In real story Mata Kausalya was a huge devotee of Lord Vishnu and she was blessed by the Lord that she would get himself as her son. But in DKDM Ramayan it was shown like Mata Kausalya was a Shiv devotee and Shiva blessing her that Narayan would incarnate as her son . And then Mata Lakshmi was shown being summoned by Parvati to incarnate as Sita and Mata Lakshmi was taking Shiv-Parvati's permission to take her avatar .

It was quiet distasteful . My mother is a staunch Shiv devotee and she herself found it awkward .

Initially when the Ramayan story started Shivji says it's Narayan's leela and he won't unnecessarily interfere in it and later it seemed weird how he was trying to control Lord RAM .

Shiva gave boon to Guru Vasishta that he will get Narayan as his student in his first human avatar . I was like why Shiva decides everything for Vishnu . Don't Vishnu has right to choose what he wants and what he wants to do in his avatar .

Then Lord Ram was hesitating to kill taraka and again Shiv-Parvati had to come and persuade Lord Ram to do so . Then what's the role of Vishwamitra here ?????????

Lord Ram hesitating to lift Shiv danush in Sita swayamwar and so Lord Shiva appears in front of him to convince him to lift the danush. My mom literally got fed up with that track .

People who are fully aware of Ramayan story must watch DKDM Ramayan. They'll get to witness the heights of distortion .

They didn't leave any single chance to make Lord Shiva look more superior in any possible ridiculous manner !!!

Now I totally regret watching DKDM as I'm not able to see Shiv-Parvati in highest state that I used to see before .

I'm hoping may be this Mahakali show at least don't go to such extremes to highlight or glorify the lead character .

Another manipulation is story of Lord Kartikeya vs tarakasur . Yes Lord Shiva and Mata Parvati guided , taught and trained Kartikeya to fight but they never interfered in the battle . The vel (weapon of Skanda ) was presented to Kartikeya by Durga but she never involved in the battle .

But DKDM which is Shiva-centric showed Kartikeya defeating tarakasur with the help of Lord Shiva where as Mahakali which is Kali-centric showed Kartikeya defeating tarakasur with the help of Ma Kali .

The funny thing is same person wrote screenplay for both shows 😆.

After seeing the tarakasur vadh in Mahakali I was imagining what would it be like if this writer writes script for show on Lord Ganesha 😃. He would have kept tarakasur alive till Ganesh was born and showed like Kartikeya killing tarakasur with the help of Lord Ganesh 😆 .

I hope cvs don't showcase Ramayan otherwise they might show like Parvati or Kali dominating Lakshmi and order Sita to take the badrakali form of her . That would make half of the audiences to give up on the show . Who knows ??? They might even show like Kali instructing Lord Ram on how to fight with Ravan or she might herself kill ravan like tarakasur .

Like for example : Lord RAM shoots an arrow towards ravan and the arrow might suddenly turn into mahakaali and tears ravan apart 🤣 .

The writer must try to understand the sentiments of general viewers and stop using other characters (especially Godly figures ) to his own advantage .

Otherwise the show will just loose loyal viewers .

Haha 😊 Her make-over is done in such a way to represent that she belongs to the fishermen tribe 😊
I too love all the NavDurga looks and I wish Parvati too is dressed up in such way .
Looks powerful and more Goddess like 😳 The best thing is Pooja looks appealing as Goddess in such attires be it Tirupura Sundari or Durga
Even in Mahabharat she looked so divine ❤️😊

Pooja is so beautiful that she looks good in almost any makeover. Even i liked all the Nav Durga looks; even as Sati she looked so beautiful; have you seen her recent look as Ma Durga?? seems to be one of the best look of her's; regarding Parvati's make over and look; I think the make up artist wanted to keep it simple and graceful, initially I didn't like it much but nowadays I really like it, suits her well; She actually looks Divine and graceful. but I personally feel her Mahakali look has to be the best ❤️ and my (personal favourite)
