Rishabhs character

I cannot begin to express my disappointment with how they're dealing with Rishabhs character.. He's left to nothing apart from thinking about preeta, day dreaming about preeta, staring at preeta, crying about why he can't marry preeta.. And now just being disappointed in himself as he couldn't do anything for preeta..

Honestly I haven't seen a Rishabh type main lead in a long time.. So simple, pure, genuine, loving, sophisticated.. Like seriously they can do sooo much with his character.. What will happen once Karan and preeta get married (if that happens) he'll spend the rest of the show just staring at them and thinking why he couldn't get preeta..
He really needs to get his own storyline away from preeta..

Agree with you... He is a great character and it pains me to see such a wonderful human being at the verge of being a devdas. I don't want Risabh's character to ever turn negative. I want it to be always positive but he should get a proper story and another girl for himself who would only love him. His character deserves it.

I disagree. I am one of those, who were never able to connect with his character. He is extremely passive. He "fell" for Preeta after he saw her for the first time. He didn't knew her as a person but he was "oh so in love" with her. Afterwards, his motive was to make a good impression on Preeta ji. Big promises, no action. Had he been introduced where he gradually fell for Preeta after getting to know her and became her friend, I would have connected with him. But he seems so superficial to me and his so-called love seemed too rushed.

I don't think he never did anything for her...like seriously I was watching episode from 7 to 21 n in between these he helped preeta a lot...either to release srishti from jail or proving preeta innocent in Ruby case...he was there with preeta...i think CVs has mess up his role...may be we should wait for 2-3 more epi for his character growth...but for now I am liking Karan n preeta

I used to like rishabh but not anymore...i hate it when he vents out his frustration to sameer n others...dude you being helpless...angry...frustrated or could not make a decision is your choosen path...your weakness...don't vent it out on others...sorry i don't relate to rishabh luthra..he is one complex character..very difficult to understand him...unpredictable man

Also to say his character is being sidelined to glorify Karan has no truth to it. Because we were never a part of any script reading session with the CVs. Maybe this is the way his character has been written right from the beginning. He was shown to be a little hostile right from the start, his bonding with the rest of the family except Karan and his mom was rarely witnessed. Also we're already familiar with the way he treats Sameer. We've only seen his good side in terms of what he has done for Preeta or his mom this time. As for Karan we only saw him in terms of his behavior with Preeta. He has always been really good to his family right from the start. Slowly but surely we're getting to know the real Karan Luthra...likewise till his engagement, we had only seen Rishabh's extrinsic qualities...but since that event, we're getting to witness his weakness and lack of ability to stand strong. Maybe this was the way Rishabh Luthra has been written.
