Sonam has never been replaced. I just saw her ad in some magazine last month. Katrina wears a lot of their jewellry, and plus this event was being held for many South Indian stars also. Katrina was invited, and I think Big B was invited but was unable to do so.

Kat looks really nice here. I think the reason she doesn't choose a silk saree or something more traditional is that it won't look good on her. That small glimpse of her in an Assamese sari in Galti Se Mistake showed she is not made for these traditional outfits. Even Chikni Chameli which I thought was horrid.

It would have been nice to see her experiment 'cause South Indian fabrics and styles are so rich and beautiful.
