Part 5
A month passed after ishita left Raman's job ,in this one month Raman was trying to get over ishita and her thoughts ,but cannot . There was no change in his behavior, he still was rude to everyone as if he he is punishing everyone for sending ishita away because he couldn't punish himself ,he has started drinking a lot ,his days starts with cursing ishita and ends with passing out by drinking heavily .Though in daytime he is alright ,a shrewd businessman ,hard worker ,a good son and a nice personality ,in day time he will decide that he will not think about ishita from now but till evening ,he started missing her like hell and ended up going in bar .
Today mihir was taking interview for the post of his PA (he was CEO of Arora enterprises and works separately than bhalla's ).He was almost done with the interview and also had short listed some named and was wrapping his things to leave for lunch when the receptionist informed that one more candidate is left ,mihir signalled her to send the candidate inside raking the files from receptionist hands .
Mihir opened the file and was shocked to see ishita's resume . At first he got angry recalling Raman's state ,then thought why ishita is here for interview when she has already joined singh associates. After thinking for sometimes he called for ishita .She entered inside his cabin and saw mihir . Though after seeing mihir she got to know that she is not going to get this job but she thought to talk to him for once and ask about Raman . Thinking so she walked to mihir ,he asked glaring her " you had already joined Singh associates na ,then why are you here for another interview ".
I- I left that job .
M- why, kyun wahan bhi koi bewakoof tumse pyaar karne laga tha .
I- nothing like that they had given me job to know the secret of bhalla architects.
M- to de diya hota ,why you are being so loyal to Raman .
I- I was always loyal to Raman sir.
M- then why you wanted to leave the job.
I- because I had a doubt that bhalla sir liked me ,so thought to change the job before he goes far but he confessed that day and I..
M- yeah I wanted to ask you that day also ,that day your parents brought your daughter but your husband was not there .
I(changing the topic )- how is Raman sir .
M- why are you asking about him ,zinda hai wo ,that's enough for you to know .
I- why are you saying like this ,if I was married what's my fault in it I never gave any positive signal to him ,then also if he started liking me,where m I wrong .
Mihir was silent listening to this as he actually don't have any answer for her questions .He too changed the topic and spoke " see ishita I can't give you any job ,though you are highly eligible for this job buy I can't do that as I love my friend more than you ".
I- thank you sir ,its ok .Actually I knew it and I m happy for Raman sir as he has such a nice friend ,thanks a lot .
Saying so she was gone leaving a confused and guilty Mihir ,confused thinking why she didn't talked about her married life ,why she wanted to do job when she has husband and guilty because he didn't gave her job knowing she is the most appropriate candidate among all .
He was still lost in his thoughts when the door knocked ,he says " its open ".
It was ishita again ,she entered the cabin and spoke ," sir I understand your point that you can't give job to me but I m really in acute need of job ,not in your form but if you get to know any job suitable for me ,will you please help me.
Mihir nodded while ishita kept the chit having her phone number in his table and left .
Few more days passed, there were no conversation between ishra or ishmi but raman and mihir meet daily and mihir always use to make Raman understand that he should forget about ishita and start afresh ,Raman always promised him but in vain, after sometimes he again starts saying its only for today will stop all these from tomorrow ,a tomorrow which never comes .
One day Raman was in his cabin doing his work when his intercom buzzed,he picked the phone casually and spoke
" hello ",after that he became numb listening to his receptionist ,don't know how to react ,he got glued to his place ,his throat cannot form words ,his mouth cannot speak any word ,he don't know how to react ,weather he would be angry or happy ,how he will talk to her ,what he will talk to her .why she had come here ,did she again want to work with him ,or ...oh my god what if she has come to say that she also like him .He was too lost in his thoughts to answer receptionist, poor she was asking him again and again ,finally she thought that he has hung the call and she walked to his cabin to ask weather she should send ishita inside or tell her to wait .His trance broke listening to the door opening sound ,he looked towards the direction and the receptionist informed ,meekly as she was scared of his wrath ,because now Raman scolds any one and everyone in petty issues too .
Rec - sir Ishita mam ,has come she wants to meet you ,should I send her in or say you are busy .
Raman got so happy that he would be able to see her after almost 45 days but at the same time he was surprised because of her sudden visit . He finally stopped his chain of thoughts and ordered the receptionist to send Ishita inside .
Raman went to washroom to check himself ,as he wanted to look handsome in front of ishita because she will be looking him after so much time ,till now he don't have any hope that she will come back to him ,but her coming back to him has raised ,a point percent hope in him .
He gave a last look to himself and came out of washroom ,only to find ishita standing there ,she was looking too worn out and pale ,he got concerned looking at her state and asked worried " ishita what happened, are you sick ,did somebody ..."
He couldn't complete his words fearing of worst when she spoke " Raman sir I need money ,can you please give me some money ."
Raman was confused Listening to her but cannot deny her too ,he asked " how much ".
I- I want about 200000.
R- two lakhs ,why do you need so much money all of a sudden .
Ishita folded her arms in front of him and spoke crying " sir please ,I know you are angry with me ,I m not working with you anymore ,even I don't know when I will be able to return this money to you but still I came here with a hope that you will not deny me .I tried a lot but cannot arrange this much money , please give me this money ,I will do what ever you want ".
R- you didn't tell me why you want this money .
I(crying )- for my baby ,my rooh ,she us dying ,needs an urgent operation , either my baby... sir you are angry with me but my little baby hadn't done anything bad with you ,please give me money .
Raman cannot see Ishita crying more , he made her sit in the chair ,gave her water and spoke " relax Ishita ,I know what you must be going through ,but can you please tell me ,what happened to ruhi ,why she needs an operation at this age .she is too young for any operation.
I- I know my baby is very small , but she needs an immediate operation survive as she is suffering from VSD .
Raman was shocked listening to this , he felt ishita's pain getting to know that her little baby has a hole in her heart . when Ishita continued " yes sir my poor baby has a hole in her heart ,which cannot be cure with medicine ,that's why she is always sick ,that was the reason ,I was always late and didn't stop after six . Now doctor are saying that she is going to be of six months and the operation should happen as soon as possible . will you give me money ?
She saw him with pleading and hopeful eyes .Raman nodded and spoke " I will definitely give you money but wanna ask something ".
Thats when her phone buzzed ,Ishita looked at him and spoke " I know what you wanna ask ,my husband will not help me because we don't live together moreover he never wanted a daughter ."
Saying so she picked the call and spoke listening to the person " I m coming ".
She hung the call and spoke " sir my baby is crying a lot ,she needs me ,I have to leave ,if you want ,you can come , children's ward no 2 ,bed no 24 .Escorts hospital ."
Saying so Ishita was gone leaving a shocked ,confused ,happy sad ,excited and filled with all emotions Raman ,he was still in delimma that how he should react with this .
