"Di!"
"Hmmm" Chakor turned towards her sister as they were lying side by side on the king size bed.
"Thank you is nothing compared to whatever you did and you are still doing for me but it's all I can say with my love for you!" and hugged her "Lub you Di!"
"Keep few of your love for Vivaan too!" and she laughed a little carefree laugh.
"Diii!" and she hide her face in her sister's embrace.
"Maa and Papa will be happy seeing you happy like this!"
"They will be more happy when they see you married and happily leading your life."
"My sister has grown up but still talking like child!" freeing herself from the embrace.
"Stubborness is a children thing, am I right?"
"Yeah!"
"So you are a child yourself Di!" and she giggled "Why don't you see what's waiting for your lovely life, outside these brick walls you have contructed around you?"
"No bricks! No walls! I forgot my past but not wanting to build a future for now."
"Then when?"
"When the right time comes!"
"And when will it come!"
"I feel sleepy! Good night!" and she turned the other side, facing the wall.
"Diii! It's not fair! You didn't reply to my question." Imli wailed as a kid but nothing worked in front of Chakor's stubborness.
"Sleep Imli!"
"Hmmm" with a heavy breath "Good night Di!"
"Good night!" she smiled in the darkness of the room.
The morning arrived with new rays of hope, happiness and love.
Getting up earlier, Chakor made her way to the kitchen after freshening up for the day.
"Good morning!" saying this, she entered the kitchen as she found Girija mausi there.
In return she got a smile from her as she was busy in preparing the dough.
"It's really calm here!" she remarked.
"It was dark and calm before all of your arrival." with still smile on her face as she covered the dough before she made her way towards the vegetables present on the kitchen table.
"Hmmm" she hummed understanding what she meant by those words "Can I do something?"
Turning towards her still cutting the carrote "You go and take rest dear! I will do the necessary." and turned back to the veggies.
But Chakor stayed there observing all the movements of Girija.
"Why that look?" she asked as she went to get masala powder in the upper cupboards.
"I learnt to cook myself, so seeing others cooking helps me to improve." smile not leaving her.
Hearing her, Girija turned towards her with a questionning look and getting the queue, Chakor told her long lost story in short making Girija feel sad for the girls.
"If you need anything! Don't hesitate, come and ask me." putting her hand on Chakor's shoulder "I will behave as a responsible mother of 2 daughters!" with smile lingering on her lips.
Seeing her new daughter getting emotional, she added "Go and take rest! I will call you when everything is ready." trying to change the topic.
"No mausi! I will stay here!"
"Hmm" as she again went back to get the masala powder.
"Where did it go?" she turned off the gaz "Need to check all the groceries this afternoon!" and started to move towards the door.
"What do you need mausi? Tell me, I will get it!" Chakor proposed as she saw Girija mausi move.
"I will get it child!"
"Tell me mausi!"
And the stubborness of Chakor won.
She got all the information about where to fing the garam masala and all in the storeroom.
"Just check in the place I told you. Don't close the door. The lock has to be changed."
"Yes Mausi!" as she got out of the kitchen.
At the same time, Suraj got down from stairs, looking here and there as he entered the kitchen.
"Love! Where is my helmet?"
"How many times I have told you to not call me like that?"
"Each time I call you!" as he got near her "What is special for today Love?" as he saw the prepartion for breakfast.
"You didn't change at all!"
"Do you want me to change love? I will just change for you!" as he put his hand around her shoulder.
"Call me mausi then!"
"That's the only thing I can't do for you Love! That word is just old fashioned and you know that you are my first Love forever." and winked at her.
"Drama king!" as she hit him affectionnetly on his hand before getting away from him towards the fridge.
"You will not even call me mausi when the love of your life comes!" she smiled as she took needed items from the fridge.
"You will be always my Love, my darling!"
Shaking her head "You still behave like a child!"
"And it's only beacuse of you, Love!"
"Luckily no one is here to hear you!"
"That's why I talk to you only when alone!"
"I see!"
"Yeah!"
"Why did you come to kitchen in first place?" she asked the question and turned back to the fridge.
"Oh! It's for my helmet!"
"It's inside a white bag in storeroom."
"Thanks Love!" and exited the kitchen.
"The door of" and she stopped in her track as she got to know she is alone there.
Shaking her head, Girija continued her work.
KN in his room, with his phone stuck to his ear:
"Send the carpenter as soon as possible!"
"Yeah! This afternoon is ok!"
"Ask him to bring everything needed to repair the door."
"Ok!"
"Hmm" and he disconnected the call.
"Got garam masala, coriender powder and" and she started to check box by box and bottles
CLAK
"Door!" she screamed as she stabilised herselef on the table as she turned leaving the rice powder bottle hanging "How will I go out now?"
"Who is there?" a known voice echoed in the room as her hand hit the bottle and fell on her, making her a white couching angel.
And next thing she heard is the laughing sound of the man she is calling friend, present infront of her.
"You!" dusting herself "Why did you close the door? Who will open it now?"
"I will! Now!"
She glared at him "Mausi said it's blocked!"
"Love" he murmured and saw her with a haunting expression while his heart said 'Nice opportunity!' and his mind reminded 'This is going to turn in the same way as the last time!'
