I remember the how I got attracted when the first time I read <Harry Potter>. In this book J.K Rowling showed us a fantastic world and let millions of children have an amazing childhood. Since then, I always like to read everything I can find about magic and super power and something like that.
Here's some fantasy books I'd like to share and I really hope that some of you can have much fun just like me by reading them.
<A song of ice and fire> Martin planned to write seven parts for the whole set and up to now he has finished five. He used to work on playwriting and in this set he began to write in POV. Every POV concentrates on one single character and readers can see what he sees and feel what he feels. Also Martin has take many histories of medieval Europe as reference so that the story has a better sense of reality.
<The Chronicles of Narnia> Some people think that it contains some metaphors for religions. This opinion, I guess, may comes from some plots like Christians consider the lion sacrifice himself to rescue other people. Buuut all these are up to you to judge and imagine.
< The Twilight Saga> Up to Nov.2011, this set has sold 120 million books in a global range and has been translated in 38 languages. The audiences are mainly teenagers. I think that many people are very familiar with its five movies which have made great success. When it comes to literature, some people compare Stephenie Meyer to J.K Rowling. The conclusion is that <Harry Potter> teaches us how to face the fair deep in our mind and choose to do right things while <The Twilight Saga> teaches us that love is much more important than anything else. Actually in the past decade, the theme of vampire has always been very hot no matter in literature or TV sets or even movies. There are many oher great works which are worth reading and watching.
These are all classic works and many of you may have already read them so I also want to recommend a new book which feels good.
<Nicholette's Reign> Nicholette Boyojek has just been crowned the young queen of Delladine after her father suffers a mysterious death. She quickly finds herself in a battle of politics with the surrounding countries and her own cabinet members. When two men who were set to be executed for practicing a dangerous, sacrificial magic called Noduv are miraculously spared, Nicholette finds that she has an important role in saving their lives. As the young queen sets out to mend her torn nation, she finds there are dark things lurking outside of her palace walls.
