Mihir was driving while Raman was still sobbing. He wasn't not in his senses, not because he was drunk but because he was exhausted, exhausted of crying and trying. Mihir took him to his home and make him sit.
Then he went and brought two cups of coffee for themselves. He gave one to Raman and said -pilo bhai, u will feel good.
Raman -thoda saa zeher de do. I will be better. He said in almost devastated voice.
Mihir sat next to him and said -please bhai, himmat mat haro. Bhabhi jarur milegi.
Raman -kab milegi, it's more then a month. Do u even know how I am living without her.
Mihir -i understand bhai, main aapka dard samajh raha hoon.
Raman -nahi u can't understand, nobody can understand. Koi nahi samajh sakta meri takleef. Meri ishita ek mahine se mere paas nahi hai, usko kidnap kiya gaya hai, pata nahi kahan hai. Noone in the house talk about her, kisi ko koi fikar nahi hai uski, uski kya kisi ko meri bhi fikar nahi hai. All want us just to die without each other but main usse marne nahi dunga, I will find her and will protect her. Will love her like my baby, she is my baby only. Ishita kahan ho naa jao, mere paas please. He cried in pain.
Ishita got up from her sleep saying, raman.
She looked around and looking for him.
Ishita -pata nahi mujhe kyun lagaa ki raman ne mujhe bulaya. Par raman kaise bula sakte hai, woh toh mera naam bhi nahi jaante. Jarur sapna dekha hoga. She thought and got up to drink water. She had water and lay down on the bed to sleep but she was feeling restless.
She got up and said -pata nahi aaj itni bechaini kyun lag rahi hai, aaj garmi jyada hai kya. Ho sakta hai,yaa phir shayad pregnancy mein aisa hi lagta hoga. Haan ho sakta hai, waise bhi doctor has told me to drink lots of water to prevent dehydration. I think I should drink some more water. She thought and went to have a glass of water more. She had it but still she wasn't feeling at peace .she walked to the little balcony and start enjoying the cool breeze. She lovingly caressed her tummy and said -now r u feeling better. U know I am very happy, ki tum aa gaye. U know mumma was very alone. Papa bhi nahi hai, I was just dying out of loneliness. But ab joh tum aa gaye ho now I am fine, ab bas papa bhi aa jaayen toh we will be a happy family. She said and stand there for some more time. At last she went to sleep.
On the other hand, Raman was feeling light after crying his heart out.
Raman -thanks mihir, for being with me always. Pata nahi tere bina mera kya hota. Shayad mar hi jaata apni jaan ke bina if I don't have u. Thanks for being with me when no one is with me. He said smiling.
Mihir-bhai why r u saying so, aapka saath nahi dunga toh kiska dunga, aapka saath toh dena hi hai mujhe hamesha, coz u r not only my friend but my guide and mentor too. He said smiling making Raman smile too.
Mihir -achcha boliye, would u like to have something, kuch khaya toh hoga nahi aapne.
Raman -nahi I am good, don't feel like eating anything.
Mihir -ok bhai, then u rest,mujhe kuch kaam hai, I will sleep after finishing my work.
Raman -dont feel like sleeping, come let me help u in ur work.
Mihir -arey nahi bhai, I am almost done. Joh Mumbai ke saamne village mein construction karwaya tha naa, ussi ki payment kar raha hoon. Aap rest Karo naa, I will complete it myself.
Raman -ab kahan rest hai zindagi mein. I can't sleep peacefully till I get my wife back. Kuch kaam hai de de, I will be busy. Kam se kam aankh bandh karke chain ki neend sone ka drama toh nahi karna hoga. He said and sat next to mihir. Mihir gave him the bill, which he has to settle. Both sat together to work, soon work was over but Raman was still not sleepy, so he start looking at the past projects and tender reports along with presentation.
He was reading the project held in the village where mihir was sent when mihir got a call. It was from the detective, mihir excused himself and went to talk as he don't want to sadden raman, as he got well after long.
Mihir went out and said -hello.
Dec-i got information about the girl. He said making mihir happy.
Mihir -kya u got info about her.
Dec-yes, when I was searching for her showing her pic, one of the truck driver recognised her. She got banged into his truck and he has dropped her to the nearby hospital. Then I go to the hospital and got to know that the girl was in the hospital for a week and later she was discharged. Then I start checking the routes by which she can go out of the city and got to know by one of the staff in bus stand that she went to Delhi,she stays in Delhi for one week, in a cottage and finally she is in Mumbai. Mumbai mein kahab hai, yeh abhi pata nahi chala hai but I have told my informers to find her, uski exact location milte hi bata di jayegi. It may take few days but will surely find her. Uski photo mil jaane se bahut madad mil gayi. It was so difficult to search her with any face.
Mihir got happy hearing this and said -thank u, will try to track her, jaise hi kuch pata chale call us.
Dec-sure sir, he said and hung the call.
Mihir was too happy that finally he knows where is his bhabhi.
He happily went inside and saw Raman who was busy in checking something.
Mihir -bhai, I have a great news for u. bhabhi ka pata chal gaya, she is in,
Mumbai, Raman didn't let him complete and said making mihir shocked.
Mihir -aapko kaise pata.
Raman -i just got to know, she is in Mumbai naa.
Mihir -yes, my detective is going to Mumbai, we will get to know shortly where she is on proper. But aapko kaise pata chala.
Raman -will tell u, but pehle tu bata how he got to know.
Mihir narrated him everything.
Raman -iska Matlab ishita ussi din unn sabke kabze se bhaag gayi thi. Iska matlab main bekar mein inn sabke saamne acting kar raha tha,papa ke paas thi hi nahi meri jaan toh woh usse kaise maar sakte the. Tabhi kisi ne mujhe kuch nahi bataya ishita ke baare mein even when they were not in their senses. Kyunki unhe khud hi kuch nahi pata tha. Main itne dino tadapta raha, I so wanted to shout on them but I couldn't just because I want to safeguard my jaan but aaj pata chal raha hai ki unke paas toh meri jaan thi hi nahi. Mera Ek mahine waste ho gaya, agar mujhe pehle pata hota ki ishita papa ko custody mein nahi hai toh I would have search for her freely, I wouldn't be so scared of them.
Mihir -ab joh beet gaya usse bhool jaiye, we can't return that time, but sochne wali baat yeh hai ki agar bhabhi gundon ke paas nahi thi toh aakhir aapke paas kyun nahi aayi. She should have come to u.
Raman looked at him trying to observe his words and said getting up-i had to reach her asap.
Mihir -kya hua bhai.
Raman -usne mujhe aur Shagun ko saath dekha hoga. She must be thinking that I don't know about her. Tabhi nahi aayi woh, shit. I have always told her that I will recognise her even if I haven't seen her face but after seeing me with shagun, she must be broken. My baby must be crying. I have to reach her asap.
Mihir -but bhai, the detective couldn't trace her yet. He needs few days to trace her, tabhi hum jaa payenge bhabhi ke paas. We have to wait till he tells her exact location.
Raman -no need, I know who kahan hai. Just book my flight to Mumbai. I have to reach there asap.
Mihir -but kaise, yes I forgot to ask, how do u know, where is bhabhi.
Raman smiled and showed him something on his laptop.
Mihir read it and said -yeh toh bansal and sons ka presentation hai along with tender quotations to get next contract for delivering raw materials.
Raman -yeh presentation ishita ne banaya hai.
Mihir -how u r so sure.
Raman opened his phone and showed the mails and presentations sent to his clients and investors by ishita and said -yeh dono work pattern same hai, same style, same words, almost everything same.
Mihir read both and said -yeh toh sane hai, iska Matlab bhabhi is working for them.
Raman nodded in yes.
Mihir -but how, her record says she has studied only till five. Then how she knew all this,ek class five tak padhi ladki, how can she make such a perfect presentation. R u sure, that she is her only.
Raman nodded and said -i can never be wrong in recognising her.i don't know how she knows all this or how she got the job even being so less educated, I just know one thing that this is done by my ishita and I have to reach to her asap. U just do one thing, book my flight to Mumbai. I want to reach to her before she went somewhere else.
Mihir nodded while Raman went happily to freshen up.
After two hours, Raman and mihir was in the airport waiting for his flight to be announced.
Raman -thanks mihir, for being with me all time, tere bina main sach much bahut akela pad jaata.
Mihir-kya bhai, kitne baar thanks bolenge, aur mujhe kyun bol rahen hai. I am ur mihir, u can't thank me.
Raman smiled and both hugged each other.
Mihir -all the best bhai, now go and bring bhabhi home, main bhi milna chahta hoon unse. He said and Raman just nodded happily. Soon Raman board his flight and fly to Mumbai while mihir just prayed to the almighty to make raman meet ishita soon.
