Chapter 3

Roshni knocked on the door of sid's house and continued looking at her wrist watch.

The door opened and an old lady stood there. With a slight pause she said "Beta apko kisse milna Hai"

Roshni hesitatingly replied "Kaki mujhe Siddharth se milna Hai yeh uska hi Ghar Hai na?

The old lady replied "Sid baba apne room mai Hai beti. First floor mai chali jao

Roshni quickened up and rushed. While on the stair case she thought "Yaar mai upar toh ja rahi hu par Sid ka room konsa hoga On the way she saw a familiar face and stopped.

She was a cute girl and yelled back at roshni "ROSSHH tum yaha? kaise or woh bhi aaj??

Roshni calmed down and said with her head lowered "Sarita what a pleasant surprise. Actually mai Sid se Milne ayi thi par I don't know which room is his.

Sarita smiled and said "the second room from left with a hanging stating 'I am busy in my bath'.

Roshni giggled and said "saru the other people will also be coming please send them up na''

Roshni then hurried up and Sarita went downstairs.

Roshni entered Siddharth's room looked around and set up everything in place.

In another 15 minutes all the people joined in including Riya, Rita and many more.

30 minutes passed by and roshni never turned her eyes from the wall clock.

Suddenly rosh noticed the door opening and asked everyone to hide in their places.

Sid came out of the washroom yawning in his black jeans and yellow t-shirt. He murmured under his breath yaar itni jaldi kon uthta Hai.

As he turned his back towards the bed he was amused.

Everyone jumped in from all the sides. They began to sing the Happy birthday song.

Sid was very overwhelmed.

Roshni from the back came and pushed Siddharth. Sid was very happy and gave rosh a tight hug and thanked roshni for this surprise.

Everyone one by one came ahead and give Siddharth him his gifts.

It was roshni who at last gave her gifts. Sid was very happy and thanked everyone for the surprise.

In another minute Sid made a cute face and asked where the birthday boy's birthday cake was?

Everyone laughed at Siddharth's expression. They brought the cake in and the cake cutting ceremony took place. Sid then asked his servants to bring something to eat for his friends. He later pulled Riya to a side and asked her whether this cake was made by someone or purchased.

Rita giggled a little and said " Rosh last night planned this whole surprise and this cake is also baked by her. She and her Nani made this with love for you.

Sid couldn't help but smile and thought that he was the luckiest guy to have a bestfriend like roshni.

Everyone soon sat down on the bed and began their chit-chat. Everyone laughed with a beaming smile on the jokes cracked and each narrated this friendship with Sid. Sid had never thought that his bday would be such a great day.

Everyone narrated their story and now it was roshni's turn. Roshni cleared her throat and in a sweet voice started " That our friendship is as normal as any friendship but the only twist here is that. And soon her phone buzzed and her face expression changed. Her picked up the phone and said I will surely make sure he is back home in another 30 minutes. As she cut the call Sid asked what happened roshni.

Roshni said it was Rohan's brother (rohan a friend of sid). He said he wanted rohan back home asap. She asked rohan to go home, and that her driver will drop him. Everyone then in a sudden left because it was already 7 in the evening.

Roshni was upset but Rita, Riya and Sid cheered her mood and they four decided to go to The shopping centre nearby.

Sid went to his mom and said Maa I am going to the shopping centre nearby and will be back by 10''

Simmi said "ok beta, here you go take my card with you. It may help.

Sid gave her a tight hug and left. All four of them took sid's car and the driver drove the car at a good speed.

In another 10 mins they reached the centre and we're very excited. They started singing the song I'll be there for you.
