I think the K shows of early 2000s - Kyun ki, Kasauti all popular K shows in a way. Sony was quite popular in the late 90s with progressive shows of all genres like Boogey Woogey, Just Mohabbat, Aahat and many, much of which I can't remember. Kutumb which pioneered all the college romances if I am not wrong. Star became prominent after Balaji had got all the prime time shows. All the female flagbearers became prime time icons. They were a hysteria before social media took over! Everyone I knew back then, young and old alike, used to watch one or another K shows. Ahh nostalgia. 😆

I strongly feel like the bar on the topics that can be discussed here on the forum should be lifted, at least to some extent. This place is equivalent to a ghost bungalow right now. Thanks to Kangana, a little increase in activity can be witnesses of late. The discussion on other socially relevant subjects end up becoming more readable here. TV is a common experienece here among us and a you will find like minded opinions on TV related threads whereas discussion on movies or stars eventually lead to fights and disrupting the course of the thread. I must not be the only one who is bored of the similar exchange of replies on every darn BW topics. -__-
