HHello friends ,back with new update .
Part 4
Mihir was about to ask further questions about Ishita to her father but he saw Raman going out of the hospital , instructing Mr iyer to take care of Ishita mihir ran behind Raman but before he reach Raman settled in his car and drove away .Mihir ruffled his hairs in frustration as he knows very well that Raman is not in a very good condition as he had just faced the heartbreak ,the girl whom is loves like mad and was ready to accept her in any situation is married .That's the biggest and worst blow a lover can have ,mihir immediately pulled his phone and tried to call Raman, his phone rang again and again bit he didn't picked the phone rather after sometimes it stopped responding . Mihir too didn't bothered to go back and check on ishita as she has her parents ,may be followed by her husband too but at this point Raman doesn't had anyone as only mihir was his confider ,except him non knew about his immense love towards ishita .He thought something, settled in his car and drove away ,he at went to bar as he very well know Raman's drinks a bit when he is tense but to his bad luck ,mihir didn't find him in any bar wherever they usually ,finally mihir thought something and turned his car towards outskirts of Delhi , after a drive of about 15 kms there is a lake surrounded with nature .They had found this place when they were going for a trip ,that time Raman liked this place very much and had told mihir ,its so peaceful place ,I will come here and spend time with myself whenever I want to be away from everybody . Thinking that may be he will be there mihir drove towards the lake as he very well know that Raman cannot go back to his house in this broken condition . Soon he reached there and the scene which he witnessed make his hate ishita a bit more and weep on his friends condition .Raman was sitting in a rock ,drinking rum ,the alcohol which he didn't liked ever.every time he sipped it from the bottle ,he made dirty faces but still was drinking while his all face was wet with his tears ,mihir walked to him and sat beside him ,he tried to take bottle from Raman but he didn't gave that to mihir rather he spoke " you know mihir I don't like its taste ,whenever I sip it I feel like something is burning in me but you know today its also testing nice, the pain I m going through is much more than bad than the taste of this rum ."
M( side hugging him )- Raman leave it you have drunk much ,don't hurt yourself so much yaar .
R- you know everything is happening because of me only ,tune bahut baat samjhaya mere bhai but I didn't listened to you .
M- no it was not your fault ,how come you will know that she is ..
R(interrupting him in mid)- you know Mihir ,I always thought may be she will deny saying I don't like you ,I don't love you ,we have status difference ,etc but never thought that it would be the reason of her denial ,she is married , now I don't have hope also .The hope that even if she deny for any of the reason ,I will make her fall in love but today all hopes ,everything ended ,now what should I do ,ab main kya karoon ,I love her so much that leave living ,just the thought of living without him is impossible for me ,now what should I do .
Saying so he started crying again ,mihir stopped him and spoke " Raman stop yaar ,have you gone mad what are you saying .kisi ke jaane se kisi ki life end nahi hoti ,so as yours ,she is married now what should we do ,try to forget her and start afresh ."
R- no mihir ,mujhse nahi hoga.
M- you have to ,poori zindagi uske gum mein devdas to nahi ban sakta na ,you have to move man ,you are crying for that which was never yours .So stop thinking rubbish and try to move on , why are you thinking about yourself and ishita only ,why are you not thinking about your parents , your siblings ,they also have some right on you .you are hurting yourself because of a girl who was never yours and not thinking about your own family ,is this right .bol.
Raman thought for a while then spoke wiping his tears ",you are right ,she is living her own life then why shouldn't I ,I will totally forget her and will never ever recall her ,she was not mine ever and can't be mine ".
Thinking so he tried to wipe his tears which were coming again and again while he was trying to wipe them with his both hands .Mihir felt bad looking to his condition ,he pulled Raman for a tight hug while Raman broke down totally in his embrace . They sat there for long time ,at the time mihir was consoling and making raman understand to move on forgetting ishita ,while Rsman too decides every time but next moment he starts crying again .It was night when mihir took him back ,totally drunk lost his senses but still crying .Mihir called Raman's mother and informed her that today Raman is staying with him ,Toshiji agreed and he drove towards his house ,instructing his driver to take Raman car after him.
Next morning when Raman woke mihir had already left for office leaving a note for Raman under a glass containing lime juice.He had the lime waiter and read .
" Bahut ro liya mere yaar ,now start afresh leaving your past ".
As soon as he read the message ,all the happenings of last day replayed in his mind ,then he saw the note of mihir .He read it again and got up wiping his tears as if decided something .He then went back to his house ,got ready ,had his breakfast and went to his office . Now he was not the same broken Raman as yesterday ,he has changed ,this Raman is different .He entered the office ,all greeted him like earlier but he didn't replied to anyone rather went directly to his cabin ,the next moment peon was called ,he went and got scolded as he has not arranged his table thinking its ishita's work .He meekly replied " sir this is ish..."
Raman didn't let him complete and spoke " no from today you will be arranging my cabin as ishita mam will not be coming for some days ."
The peon nodded and started his work ,after that Raman sat in his chair and started his work .That's day was not a nice day for his employees as almost everyone got scolded by raman for one thing or another ,and after that day ,all rays were like this day only ,he use to come office at right time,want everybody at office on time and was no longer jovial Raman who cares for everybody but a changed one who is only concerned about work and not interested to know anyone's sorrow or pain .
Days started passing ,a week passed , ishita entered the office after whole week , she noticed that the office is unexpectedly silent and everybody was busy in their work .She saw the time ,it was 9.05 am ,she thought " its not much time ,I m not so late also then why everyone is working ,non is greeting each other and no one has reacted seeing me after somany days ,rather everyone is just looking at me as if I m alien."
Ishita was going towards her cubical when the receptionist called her ,she turned and walked to her .
The receptionist told " ishita how r you ".
I- I m good ,but what happened to office .
Rec- don't know what happened to Raman sir ,he has become so rude and arrogant, we have not seen him like this till date . He has told me to tell you to come at sharp 9.00am and leave at 6.00 pm only .
I- anything serious .
Rec- don't know exactly but he don't talk to any of us nicely as if he is some other person .
Ishita was surprised to listen this ,she thought to talk to him ,thinking so she went to kitchen to make coffee for her when the peon denied saying " sir didn't drink coffee these days ".
She didn't said anything and went directly to his cabin .She saw it was shattered while Raman was doing his work sipping his drink , she started picking the files when he spoke " let them like that only and get back to your work ".
I- but sir ...
R(angrily)- hadn't you listened to me ,go back to your work.
Ishita nodded and went out ,she settled in her chair and started crying as she very well know that Raman is like this because of her refusal only . She cried for sometimes then thought to talk to Raman ,thinking so she went to Raman cabin ,she knocked the door and entered .Raman raised his eyes to her and then asked looking back to his file
" do you have some work with me ."
I- sir I wanted to talk to you .
R- bolo .
I- I m so sorry sir ,I never thought that what's going on your mind either I would had told you earlier ,actually...
R- I thought you want to talk to me something about work ,no ishita now we will talk only about work nothing else .
I- sir please try to under...
R- I told you na ,I don't want to talk about you happy married life ,already a week is passed till your notice ,only three weeks are left ,you do your job till these days and can leave happily from here.
I- I will surely go after three weeks but please don't hurt yourself because of me .
R- ( crushing the glass in his hands )- I m big enough to know about my wellbeing ,don't try to teach me .
The moment he ended his sentence ,the glass broke into pieces and its broken sharp edge pierced in his palm making him wince in pain .She saw blood on his hand and ran to him to do first aid but he showed her palm and spoke " you can leave ishita ,I m good ."
I- let me do first aid ,it's bleeding heavily.
R- I don't need your sympathy, you just leave .
She didn't listened to him ,brought first aid box ,took his hand and started wiping the blood when he pulled his hand and asked looking at her " can you take care of me for ever like this ".
Ishita got startled with his sudden question and didn't answered him while he spoke " nahi na ,then leave .go from here .leave me on my state,you go to your baby and your husband .I can take care of myself ."
Before ishita can say anything he called the peon and instructed him to help him . He walked to Raman and started cleaning his wound while ishita went from there and cried feeling helpless not able to help Raman as he is not ready to listen to her .
Days started passing ,Raman didn't gave any chance to ishita to talk .One day Raman called ishita ,she thought that may be he has soften some,thinking so she walked into his cabin .She greeted him while he reminded
" ishita your term for one month is over now you can leave your job and join Singh associates ."
Ishita looked surprisingly to him while he was void of any emotions ,she tried to say something but he spoke don't giving her a chance to say anything " don't worry your salary will be credited to your account ".
Ishita didn't spoke anything further and left his cabin ,later gathered her stuff and left the office too with moist eyes while he too was seeing her retreating figure crying bitterly ,thinking nd cursing himself to send her away from himself ,closing all the routes by which he can reach her .
