Hey all!

Was listening to some 90s and early 2000s songs and was thinking- which are the best eras for Bollywood when it comes to fashion and makeup?

Do you like the eccentric 80s or the vibrant 90s? Minimalist 40s or swinging 60s?

Please tell us what your favourite Bollywood looks have been with pictures if possible (as always). ;)

Any movies where you thought the styling was par excellence?

I LOVE sarees and skirts from 30s-40s-50s :p

Actually I like something from every era..

..the minimalist NEAT look until 50s... especially the skirts

...the polka dots from 60-70s (excuse me if I am wrong)

...suede skirts + stockings from 70s

...the BIG full-sleeved cotton salwars 😆

...plain saree look from 80s I guess?

90s -

...over-sized sweater/shirt with sleeves rolled up + high-waist jeans

...denim jacket + denim skirt + stockings

...denim overalls

and a lot more.. will try to post pictures or videos!! :D

I like many from all eras 😆

I think my favorite will be 90s(world fashion), when I feel that all sorts of clothing was allowed... it was a crazy, freestyle, eccentric decade with LOTS of variety and I feel it was the most experimental decade too... I don't think THAT much variety has ever existed before or after. You could dress up in skirts from 40s or dress up in simple little black dress ...there was a SEA of choices 😃

90s FTW! :p

I like minimum makeup look with kohl and liner degined eyes with a matt nude lipstick.

90s is my favorite decade of BW.

But it was the absolute worst fashion wise 😵 It was too loud for me I guess.
I used to hate that bird's nest hairstyle that was in trend during the late 80s/90s. 😆

Fashionwise I prefer the black and white era and contemporary BW.

I fell in love with Indian clothes when I saw kkhh. those saris where to die for. also I think kkk was the beat dressed star in BW when I stopped watching her movies for her acting I should watch them for her clothes
